You're probably right. Webkit is more of a developmental platform. But because it incorporates the "latest and fastest" I usually use it as my preferred browser. Of course if I were to vote for the overall best browser, I would still say Firefox, with all of its addons, themes, and general stability.

Heh, sorry if my last post was rather.. angry sounding. I had just woken up and I don't think my brain was quite all woken up yet. :anxious:

Yeah, developmental platform sounds like a good term for it. I guess it is a browser, although generally people don't use it as a browser, but as a starting point to build their browser on.

..I think I'm repeating myself here. ;)

Anywho..

Say, do you want me to add "Webkit" as an option? Is that possible?

Once a poll has been voted in, only mods and admins can edit the poll. :) If you would like a poll in a thread that you have created to be edited to add an option etc., usually posting the thread will get you a pretty quick response, or you can always PM one of us to give you a hand if you prefer. :D I'm adding Webkit as an option now, since you seem to want it there. Correct me if I'm wrong!

I use Safari and FIrefox interchangeably, the reason being I have both on my MacBook. I like Safari better than Firefox.

Catspaw is not wrong. She is absolutely correct. Thank you for adding that option, Catspaw!

I'm a big Firefox fan. So much so, in fact, that I have Firefox Portable on my thumbdrive that I keep on my keychain. I have my browser in my pocket! (When I'm not here, of course!)
I use both internet explorer and chrome! Chrome is prolly the fatest there is though even faster than firefox!

Well, I've deleted Flock and now use Firefox - it's much better.

I didn't think you sounded angry. :-)

Reading your post, I decided to give Firefox 3 another try on my Mac. After finding loads of different tweaks (like the pipeline mod, memory mod, etc.) I got Firefox as fast (or maybe faster) than Webkit. All the useful addons also came back with Firefox, and now I don't know if I will go back to Webkit.

Firefox. It's more stable, secure, and faster than IE.

Webkit?? You might as well add Lynx to the options too. :P
And why is Webkit looking for Safari? (I just downloaded the SVN version.)
