I'd suggest utilizing the Inventor's Corner or one of the existing writing factions. All the old factions are dead, hence the persuading people to use the main forums thing being a common response. Anyone that would want to be a member of a new writing faction is most likely already subscribed to the others. Factions are simply under-utilized. Posting in the ones already there would make them un-dead. Er... not the zombie kind of un-dead though.
