Emotional/Sad Scenes

What are your fav?

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Emotional/Sad Scenes

Post by H Tide »

Odyssey has had plenty of sad or emotional episode/scenes. What are your favorite emotional or sad scenes in Odyssey? Some of my favorites included Whit saying goodbye to Clara in "Clara," the whole episode of "Gone," as well as "Connie, I & II."

In 'The Homecoming', when Lucy Cunningham-Schultz cries because she's confused, and having a hard time forgiving Richard Maxwell.

The very last line of "Home Is Where the Hurt Is," and the ending of "Greater Love." The first time I listened to "Plan B, III: Crossfire" I cried when Connie said she wasn't okay, but it's never affected me since then.

The top five episodes that most get to me are "The Time Has Come", "Gone", "Where Is Thy Sting?", "The Final Conflict", and "The Fifth House on the Left".

Agreed! "The Homecoming", and that part, is emotional. Maybe that's why it makes it so hard to listen to...

Emotional... I cry whenever I listen to Tom forgiving Maxwell in "The Last Resort" (or I accidentally say something bad... by total accident).

"Gone" is one... "Now More Than Ever" is an emotional one for me...

I can't think of too many that are emotional. Sad... Man, I can't think of an Timmy episode... oh, "Passages". Though, I love that one.

Other than that... I can't think of anything. I'm drawing a blank.

I cry and get emotional very easily. So, if it is even somewhat moving (like people forgiving each other), I burst into tears. I will probably cry at my wedding. I am just that cool. :-s

I barely ever cry, but I the end of "Home Is Where the Hurt Is" almost made me want to cry. :(
So you lost your trust,
And you never should have.
No, you never should have.
But don't break your back
If you ever see this,
But don't answer that.
In a bullet proof vest
With the windows all closed,
I'll be doing my best
I'll see you soon.

Another one that really got to me (I've never cried but well I guess you can say I can get close) was when Nick talks to Mike Mulligan in A Lamb's Tale "You did it for me"
I believe in the place where the mind and the heart unite at faith

Anything even faintly emotional with Aubrey gets me.

Also, when Connie was in the car with Whit after Mitch died. :( So sad.
they may be copper,

they might be giants.

The last episode of Darkness Before Dawn, the end with Jack is jsut beautiful.

Also, (this one is a bit wierd) but the episode [its name escapes me] at Connie's high school graduation where the crowd sings doxology. That just makes me tear up for some reason.
Just smell those burning leaves, the warm baked bread, and the hot apple cider. Ahhh.

I can never, ever, ever cry during any Novacom saga episode. Every time I hear Connie cry I want to scream. A bit off topic, but I disagree with the decision to bring Mitch back.

A Lesson From Mike makes me feel guilty and I get choked up at the end of it.

I am a big fan of AIO, but I am not Jave Griffin or have ever been on AIO. I am just a huge fan of AIO and Jimmy Barclay. I love Odyssey, and Jimmy rules.

Ooo...I almost forgot about "Home is Where the Hurt Is".... That one did as well as "Karen" (I know this one was mentioned already), "Forever, Amen", and many of the ones already mentioned.

"Gone" was sad, but "...But Not Forgotten" was harder for me, I found it really sad.

Also, "Karen," "Connie," "The Time Has Come"
