True, I won't argue that point.
But the whole point of a book is to use your imagination and to enter a whole other world beyond our reality. When I read a book and then watch a move adaption, I find that they have changed the charaters, the storyline, and everything else that I savored and enjoyed as I read. When I read a book, I form an image of this place, these people; and when an actor I never would have seen as one of the characters is placed, it ruins the whole experience.
This is just me, though. My personal experience. But what can I say? These are two different forms of entertainment, and to each their own.
A happy ending is a story that hasn't finished yet.

There's a fine line between not listening and not caring. I like to think I walk that line every day of my life.

Actually, this thread has already been done here.
Umm, I think that you're linking to page one of this same topic. If you meant something else, I apologize.
If I had to venture a guess... I could be totally wrong but this is only a guess... I'd say this topic was merged. I'm rather sure that AIO PSYCHE's topic was separate but I don't have any evidence to support my claim. If not them I'm a lot more dense than I originally thought.
Sorry, Chandler - the two topics were merged while I wasn't on, and I didn't realize that it happened right away. You were right! Now everything is good, though, I think!
You will probably be able to appreciate it more in a few years Marvin. Most people I know didn't really understand it until their mid/upper teenage years.
