my day.

woke up at 6am. felt awful. tried to go back to sleep. finally succeeded around 7am. slept until 10am. felt awful. couldn't fall back asleep. took a shower, got on the computer. eat. slept all afternoon. got back on the computer.

oh, the life of a person under the weather. :-s so boring...

BUT! my nap was amazing! because it was cold in my room and I had to use a ton of blankets..so I was cozy...!! \:D/

Wednesdays are always really busy days for me because I have back to back activities going from early in the morning until late at night. So here is what my day looks like

For today for example

6:00-alarm goes off time to wake up
6:00-6:40-prepare for the day: shower, brush teeth, wash face get dressed kiss puppy
6:40-7:50: prepare dessert for small group that will take place in the evening
8:00-10:45-work at focus on the family the the department where the odyssey folk dwell. Bug Mr. Hoobler about the new Odyssey 2008 calendar and check out the new odyssey board game.
10:45-11:00-go down to whitsend to pick up my free volunteer lunch and hit the road
11:00-11:30-drive south on I-25 to class at the south end of town.
11:30-12:00-chat with professor
12:00-2:10-class time. Learn something new
2:10-2:15-go down the several flights of stairs to get to my car parked in the back
2:30-arrive back at focus on the family to take over afternoon phones
3:00-5:00 answer phones and do any other small tasks desired of me
5:00-5:10-drive back home
5:10:preheat oven to place dessert for small group in the oven. This will bake for one hour at 375 degrees F.
6:30-leave for small group
7:00-9:30:small group
10:00 get home and go to bed!

Now right now it is only 3:30ish so who knows what could change.

I know some of you may ask why does it take you an hour to get to school and 15 minutes to get back? Because this is ont precise.

On any other day this would be different because I only volunteer at Focus on the Family on Wednesdays.

Most important so far: I finished my playhouse project! \:D/ (Um...a day and a half late... :anxious: ) and cleaned up the mess I made from it in the living room...and when I say mess, I'm talking tornado ripping though status (wood shavings, glue, scraps of paper, etc. everywhere! I'm surprised my roommates put up with it...they knew I had to get it done and didn't need to use the living room at any point while I was in it I guess....)

You are not a dull person! :noway:

You are everything but dull! You are fun and awesome, and sweet, so don't be putting yourself down because of our days.

Mine was actually rather boring, I am doing lots of schoolwork, (I only have two days to finish four classes worth of school) I have also done quite a bit of knitting today, and I have eaten some chocolate. (as usual, that last one is the most important)
Well, I guess I've officially been told off. ;) Thanks - that's very nice of you! And I am now motivated to add chocolate consumption to my current procrastination mode - yay! \:D/

Well let see....Wednesdays are always quite full...

I got up and did a few things and started school
went to the orthodontist to get a bracket fixed
Came back, and started school again
ate lunch
did a few little extra things than got back to work
Flat-ironed my hair
ate an early dinner
got ready to go to church
went to church
came back
ate a little snack
then, came on here! \:D/ ...finally, a break.

So yeah, my day has been full and boring. Well, at least till I went to church.

I woke up early,
went to church,
left for home,
got home from church,
ate lunch,
checked the ToO really quickly,
made 7 debate briefs (biggest pain of my life),
came on here again.

*SIGH*

I'm so glad I'm done with debate.....for now. *even bigger sigh*

I woke up...

and...

went to Church...

Went with my sister to help her be brave while facing crazy salespeople at the car dealership. Then waited around with her while she talked numbers and stuff. (She did buy the car but I had already left by then...) Then I went and setup sound for my Church's youth group and ran sound and lead a small group. I love those kids!

Then I drove her car some...fun fun.

It was a great day!
