Nicholas Cage came to the University of Maryland to film a scene for National Treasure II. Apparently the University of Virginia was the first choice, but our mall was bigger! \:D/ The scene involved the characters talking to a linguistics professor about John Wilkes Booth's diary if I recall correctly. I didn't go to either the filming or the casting call beforehand (I'm no skateboarder/hacky-sacker...), but I'm eager to see the finished product and proud UMD has a part! :D

Thats cool Itaque! It is fun to pick out places you've been in movies!! And the scene sounds interesting...

Yeah, I figured out the channel shortly after. It is currently saved on my DVR. :D

Every good movie has to be ruined by a sequel... this looks like no exception. :(

Only time will tell. It doesn't look completely horrible.

They showed the trailer before Pirates 3 and it really surprised me, I didn't know that it was coming out this year.

I'll probably watch it, especially since I'm into treasure hunts at the moment. :p

It helps if its a completely different storyline. And this storyline seems to work. So as long as they treat it as a "first time movie" and not as a sequel, then it could easily be just as good.

We'll only be able to tell when we see the movie. And the second movie doesn't have to ruin the first. I'm looking forward to this one.

Just watched the trailer. Oh! I can't wait to see it. Even if it isn't as good.

Abraham Lincoln was a man! \:D/

;)

I'm not worried about the movie being made dumb by being a sequel...

I don't think it looks too bad... Obviously we'll have to wait and see what it's like when it comes out, but I thought the trailer was pretty good.

I have never seen a sequel to a movie that was as ever even slightly good as the first one!
