A biblical person you will talk with in heaven

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

A biblical person you will talk with in heaven

Post by Arla »

I've been thinking lately of what biblical person (besides Jesus of course) you are looking forward to meeting in heaven and why. I, although I shall meet all of them, will like to meet Paul. The story of his change from a persecuter of Christians to a fellow believer is a wonderful story. His experiences of faith in God were tremendous. What about you?
Just smell those burning leaves, the warm baked bread, and the hot apple cider. Ahhh.

Esther - she was so brave in the face of danger
Ruth - She was so kind and loving
All the disciples
Moses - Parting of the red sea, that had to be cool to watch

There are many biblical people I'd like to talk with. The list would include Esther, Ruth, Mary, David, Peter, and Paul.

I'm with you on this one. I love Paul; he's my hero. What it must have been like to do the things God called him to do. If I had grasp and exhibit half the characteristics and qualities he had, I'd be in good shape.

Esther was the first one to come to mind. I'm doing a Bible study about her right now, and she'll definitely be an amazing person to meet.

I also think it'd be interesting to meet Deborah, Sarah, Mary, Ruth, Naomi, and I'd also like to meet all of the disciples.

There are plenty more people... I just can't think of all of them right now. :p

1. God: Because He is most important and my savior and creator.
2. Ruth: Her story is amazing, and I always love to read the book of Ruth.
3. Easter: She is my biblical hero. I love her story and she was an amazing women.
4. Paul: I've been reading the New Testament lately, and I've been reading the books he has written, and their amazing. He was amazing and I would love to talk to him in Heaven.

Didn't you already answer months ago? :-s

I'd pick Adam, simply because we know much less about that time period than any other. I mean, the guy lived for 900 years AND been in heaven the longest. He's probably one of the wisest human beings alive. Well... you know... :anxious:

Well, obviously Jesus... cause he's the reason why we live. \:D/

But, of course, there's always the cool prophets, disciples and just plain cool dudes like Jonah, Elijah, Joseph, Moses, Abraham, Noah, Paul, David, Solomon, Peter, and the list goes on... but it'd be sweet to have a chat with the ladies, too. Esther and Ruth are the obvious choices. But what about Mary? Wow, I'll be she would have some stories to tell! :)
