Interesting fact about the second film. I was watching the director's commentary on Shrek 2 and they flat out said that the ugly stepsister was just that - a really ugly WOMAN. Not man. Not cross dresser or what have you. It's a woman with a very deep voice.
Sure surprised me there, but I'm glad they weren't actually making it is questionable as it seems. Wish I had known that when I first saw it...

A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man would have to seek Him to find her.

Wasn't it being a step SISTER obvious enough?
Though it was one of Larry King's greatest roles!
I think that the first one was AWESOME!!!
The second one was lame.
The third one is just Pitiful.

I really enjoyed the first one... the second one was sort of okay but not that great, and... I don't really want to see the Third one... I dunno maybe when its on TV for free or something but I'm not going out of my way to see it.
I thought that the first two were okay - I actually bought the second one on VHS a while ago because it was $3 or something like that and sometimes I put it in while I'm on the computer and don't really want to have to pay attention to a plotline but want something amusing on. It's grown on me - I don't notice the lameness very muc anymore. Like Top, I'm not going to go out of my way to see the third one. I want to see it eventually, but I'm not going to worry about when that will be.

I know, but renting new movies, at least at the place closest to me, seems expensive and then you only get the movie for a night or two. I don't want to see it bad enough to spend the $20 to buy it or the $5 to rent it right now. For movies that I really want to see it might be worth it, but for a movie that sounds kind of lame and doesn't have any plot points that I desperately want to see before I hear spoilers about, it isn't worth it, especially since I'm already busy.
So that's my very long explanation, Trent.

Exactly what I was going to say.epic123 wrote:You should had on one of the votes Haven't seen it and never wish to! because that would explain my feelings!
I personally dislike Shrek. I didn't like the first one, I saw part of the second one and didn't like it, and I will never watch the third one.
