I got mine from Amazon too. I paid around $7 for it, and it was in great condition. It was released in 1997, AIOs Ten Year anniversary. So I guess another will come out in 2007.
Whit: The Best is yet to come. (from "A Prayer for George Barclay" and "Gone.....")
Eugene: Impossible! Prepositions are not words that I end sentences with! (from "Poor Loser")
Arthur Dent: Operation: Thinktank will enslave the human race. Would you like a muffin? (from "Box of Miracles")

If mine never comes in I think I'll try Amazon.
I checked it out and you can buy them there for as little as $1.52 which is about 2¢ more than I paid for it so I'll probably buy it there if this guy doesn't come through.

I believe that is when Nathan said it was due out.Bobby Manning wrote:I got mine from Amazon too. I paid around $7 for it, and it was in great condition. It was released in 1997, AIOs Ten Year anniversary. So I guess another will come out in 2007.
Dave had one, but loaned it to his brother's friend soon after he got it (shortly before we met). It was never returned, so I never got to see it.

The moral of the story is to never loan stuff too your brother's friend.
I love my Complete Guide! I got it when it first came out and enjoyed reading through it all and seeing the behind the scenes info and stuff. I'm still glad that I have it, though it's obviously rather outdated already. I really look forward to a new one next year or whenever it comes out!

The more I hear of this "Dave" character, the more I think he hates OdysseyDarcie wrote:Dave had one, but loaned it to his brother's friend soon after he got it (shortly before we met). It was never returned, so I never got to see it.

Holy God in love became
Perfect man to bare my blame

Heehee... in truth, he missed the book a great deal. He regretted letting it leave his sight for a long time. But hey, someone else out there got to love it and treasure it.STRYPER wrote:The more I hear of this "Dave" character, the more I think he hates OdysseyDarcie wrote:Dave had one, but loaned it to his brother's friend soon after he got it (shortly before we met). I have the old one. It's good, but I never read it b/c it's old.
Um, I guess this is where I'm supposed to say something funny or interesting.

It came in today! Yeah! I finally have my own.
It was kinda funny. I was doing school at the table and looked out the window to see my mailman out of his truck on the other side of the mailbox and I thought that he had dropped the mail or something. When he moved I realized that he had tried cramming the book into our mailbox and broke the back of the mailbox right off. I was kinda mad at him because I love our mailbox but my daddy will fix it soon.

Of course. He'll be able to fix it, no problem. I'm really enjoying it. I haven't looked at it since I borrowed my friends which was year and years ago. So far, my biggest disappointment is that Bernard isn't on the cover.Catspaw wrote:The Complete Guide is worth any damage to a mailbox, isn't it? I hope that it isn't too hard for your dad to fix.
Enjoy the book!
I'm glad I have inspired you.agent3xq wrote:ok I definitely need to get the book now that macnut has it especially since it is really cheap
