If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

It's in the 60s today, and is sunny with blue skies! Sadly, my fitness teacher said it'll probably be the last really nice day until March

It is just beautiful here!
Sunny, warm, perfect temperature, ect. My mom had to drive me to the doctors office and we saw a kid playing football with his shirt off. Unfortanly, I haven't been able to go outside much.
The weather it's just perfect!

It's in the low 30's and it snowed last night.
Everyone should have a happy dance.

That's a neat trick
...now here's a question I've always wanted to ask someone from Australia...
Is it Winter down there or Summer? I know that it is hottest when we are at our coldest and vice versa but I've never understood the format of how it actually works...
Here's our format:
Jan - Winter - Cold
Feb - Winter - Cold
Mar - Spring - Warm
Apr - Spring - Warm
May - Spring - Warm
Jun - Summer - Hot
Jul - Summer - Hot
Aug - Summer - Hot
Sep - Fall/Autumn - Cool
Oct - Fall/Autumn - Cool
Nov - Fall/Autumn - Cool
Dec - Winter - Cold
I guess my question is, do the season remain constant with the temperature and just switch months? Our typical school year is from Sept-June with Summer off. Is that your school schedule with Winter off?

So July is in Winter and Dec is in Summer? I guess that makes sense.
So do you get off school for your summer or winter?
Christmas is in the blazing heat, not inches of snow?
Is Santa Clause big there?
