What books are you reading?

In the same vein as movie/music threads...

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

Those books sound familiar.

I am reading "Flashback" and in the first chapter, some guy gets caught in a school of jellyfish and is now hanging by a thread in the hospital, puffed up like a balloon.

Brock and Bodie Thoene are the authors. The Zion Covenant is the name of the series.

Right now, I am reading basically my all time favorite book To Kill A Mockingbird. Scout's sweet innocence is ideal for everyone as Jem enters into adolescence. This is definately a must read.

In the Bible, I am in the middle of reading Hebrews. I am at the beginning of my goal of reading through the entire book. What a great feat for me that would be. Reading all of God's words.
I do what I do.

I can sympathize with that! :anxious: It didn't help that it was nighttime when I was reading that book...

"Against the Odds: Tales of something that I can't remember." :anxious: I've only read a few of the stories so far (yes, more short stories by L.M. Montgomery!) but they're very good! There's one that has a scene that's almost exactly the same as a scene from "Rilla of Ingleside," which is interesting.
