What books are you reading?

In the same vein as movie/music threads...

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

Isn't that part of the O'Malley series? I really enjoyed the O'Malley series! :D
I really liked the O'Malley books as well, but "The Witness" is actually Dee Henderson's latest book, and is not part of any existing series. :)
Ah. :D Her titles sort of all sound alike! :anxious:

Jonathan, you read much faster than I would have expected. O:)

I recently started Jane Austen's "Northanger Abbey" - it's very amusing so far!

Nice, CoT.

Currently reading the Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien.

The Paths of the Dead part is really creepy, if you read it carefully... especially considering what lies behind the locked door. <_<

 Did that book.... is the movie Stormbreaker coming out soon based on that book? Is it about a teenage James Bond?

I just got Four Past Midnight by Stephen King. So I'll read that after I've finished A Case Of Need by Michael Crichton. (which is taking unusually long, because I haven't been reading it much, because it isn't very intrigueing.)

My sister and I love that book! I've read it ten times! \:D/ Our favorite chapter is probably the one where Henry and Midge get that weird painting and then they "doctor" it up a bit. :D

It's actually really insightful! \:D/ The first like 4 chapters are all about talking you out of getting married, though... but after that it gets into lots of interesting stuff. \:D/

I love it how books like that can be so convincing to stay single. I actually read a book by Kevin Leeman, can't remember the title , but he's the big Birth Order Book author. Anyway, he warned people from marrying anyone like me! So, should i just stay single forever? sounds like a plan...

anyway, you do scare me once in awhile.

I'm still reading the PAPA Prayer. Good book.
