There is, and we did discuss this as a mod team today, but unless ricky would like to the change the name of his thread, I don't think there's a need for it. The term "hate" is both defined and used in a different context depending on the person using it and while some of us wouldn't go so far as to say we hate an Adventures in Odyssey episode, that doesn't mean ricky can't use the term. To some, the word is quite extreme but to others it's quite mild (compared to the word "despise", for example) and so we probably shouldn't change the name of the thread (possibly changing the message ricky is trying to convey as a result). The example I gave to the moderatoring team would be like going into a thread and changing the word "soda" to "pop", just because it's a personal preference of one word over the other. It's not really our place to police people's usage of the English language

As for the actual topic, I think a reason episodes like "The Power of One", "The Great Wishy Woz" and "Fairy Tal-e-vision" failed are because they are not very "Odyssey-esque." On their own, I think they are pretty enjoyable and clever (and I actually just realized John Fornof wrote them all), but KYDS Radio and BTV episodes are not very popular with many people because they are not about real people going about their real lives in a town called Odyssey. Zany/wacky shows can be hilariously good, but they generally aren't rated or received very well by most fans because the heart of the series (the characters and storylines) are missing. Overall, as a personal preference, KYDS, BTV, Imagination Station, and Room of Consequence shows are ones I don't really re-listen to very often or look forward to hearing, though some exceptions exist ("The Devil Made Me Do It", "The Imagination Station", and "B-TV: Obedience" are ones I really liked). Though as a general rule for my own listening preferences, the over-arcing plot driven shows are consistently more enjoyable than the gimmic shows I mentioned above, while the normal slice-of-life can be hit or miss and my opinions fall in the middle.
I hope people don't think I don't like Odyssey after reading my comments, I still love it!

I'm just trying (perhaps poorly) to give some of my reasoning for liking/disliking certain genres over another when it comes to Odyssey.
