The 2006 Winter Olympics

Torino, Italy :: Febuary 10-26, 2006

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Oh, I am so excited! Jeff Buttle has defeated all odds, and taken home the bronze medal for Canada... two minutes ago! WOW! My sister was so nervous when Jeff stood in third place with two skaters left... it was funny, but I wanted to do the same thing. I wonder what Joannie Rochette thinks. :anxious:
Emmanuel Sandhu stunk though. Poor guy, but I guess he deserved it. And Sean Sawyer, did pretty good, better than Emmanuel.

I finally got to watch the mens tonight and I'm glad there are those who can balance technical with the artistic despite the new system.

I only care about the GOLD medals! I'm glad the other American won the skiing rather than Bode. That guy irkes me.
