I don't know if any people saw this movie, but it was so good. And if you haven't, you should. (Although I wouldn't know how you would be able to get it :anxious:..) It's about these three young, aboriginal girls who travel 1,200 miles from this place, where some British people decided to capitivate them (as well as other children who are half-caste, because they are fairer) and "teach" them how to be "proper", to their home.

It's a very touching movie and an excellent story. It shows what was done by the "protectors" of the aboriginal people until 1970, which was forcibly remove aboriginal children from aboriginal homes all over Australia to "re-train" them. The movie is based on a book written by one of the girl's daughters.

I too thought this movie was pretty great. It was so awesome to see real aborigines in the movie. I loved the little girls!

Saw it. Liked it a lot. Good to get a reality check with a movie like that. It is amazing/sad what racism will do to people.
