How many cousins do you have?

Some people have a lot!

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

There are different kinds of cousins. Example: First cousins, Second cousins, First cousins once removed, ect...

28 first cousins, 5 cousins-in-law and (currently) about 15 honorary cousins.

Five first cousins... but they all have kids only a few years younger than me, and they're considered my cousins too. So, there are 10 of them.

Umm... let's see... I figured out that my grandparents have 14 grand children (including myself) so if I subtract my siblings and I, that's 10 first cousins (well, actually 9. The 10th is on his or her way. Not sure yet ;)). I have A LOT of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th cousins. I have no idea where to even start. Becuause a lot of my great-aunt and uncles had 10 kids, and then they had kids, and their kids had kids, etc. And that's just my mom's side. Unless you want to take into account my step-relatives (grandpa got remarried)? I don't feel like listing those, though. :P

Her family would be even MORE extended if two of her brothers handn't died. Oh gosh, THEN where would we be? We might have to buy our own island to populate! (Seriously though, if somehow everyone in the world was killed except for my entire family (both sides, extended and not) there would be no problem at all wit re-populating the earth. Plus, it wouldn't be too shabby to have each family rule one country in the world... Oh yeah... *starts day dreaming*

On my dad's, i have... *counts* I have 14 I think. Maybe add a few... I think I might have missed some. But my dad's family is not nearly as big as my moms. Though it is still a pretty impressive family tree.

I'll just leave it at this...

We're italian.

I only have 2 first cousins. Sad isn't it. And they live almost 12 hours away, so I don't see them very often. :( I'm hoping any children I have will have a lot of cousins. :)

I don't have enough fingers and toes to count up all my cousins. A rough estimate from what I DO know of my family tree.....probably in the area of 25 or more. I'll see if I can talk to people and come up with a more accurate number.

Peace Out

I have approx. 55 first cousins on my Mom's side and approx. 28 first-cousins on my Dad's side.

And as far as extended cousins go....heh....let's just say my oldest brother had over 3,000 third cousins on our one grandma's side when he was born.
