Life on the Edge

the last live show!

Here's the place for discussing music, plays, YouTube videos, and any other media that doesn't quite fit in the other sections of Harlequin Theatre.

Life on the Edge

Post by Evil Chick »

Right now I am listening to the very last live show of Life on the Edge - Live! It seems that FotF decided to discontinue this ministry, as well! :(

Add me to that list! :( Maybe I should listen to this one, since it is the last.

I've listened before we moved. I'd always liked listening to it, and I'm sad that it's being discontinued.. :-#

What other ministries did they pull the plug on? I'm curious to find out...

It made me very sad to hear that they're discontinuing LotEL. I've listened to the show for about 2 years now, and it's been a great encouragement and help to me in many situations! I had that "someone just punched me in the stomach" feeling when I heard.

I like the show but thanks to work and my dad's custody schedule, I usually end up having to listen to it at Oneplace.

At least they didn't cut AIO.

That's what I was thinking as I heard Susie make the announcement.

They stopped airing Family Night Guy, a short daily radio show from Heritage Builders. I believe that's the only three that have been discontinued (Family Night Guy, Life on the Edge, and Radio Theatre).

This isn't going well (and it had better not progress...)

RT is discontinued? What on Earth for?

While I personally didn't get enjoyment from listening to the show, I'm sad to hear it's being cancelled.

And for those concerned about AIO, I wouldn't worry. I don't expect that to happen for some time.

I have an entire "tirade" thread on the TH somewhere about the one and only time I listened to this show.

To make things short, I'm not at all disapointed they are canceling it.

I don't remember that. I'm sorry you didn't like it.

I called in once about 1 1/2 years ago. They even mentioned me in the last show - "We had a caller from Germany" :D

I don't remember that thread either, why didn't you like it (I'm wondering if we have similar reasons)?

I liked the question and answer shows... but I never listened on a regular basis and I never listened to the themed topic shows. I liked the q & a shows though... like a Christian teen version of Dear Abby or Dr. Laura.

Um, they way they handled one of the callers was, I thought, very unhelpful: avoiding the Gospel and leaning on sympathy in time of a trial. When/if the TH comes back I'll find it and let you see it. I don't remember all the details to say here.

Besides, I posted the majority of my posts before you joined Jonathan.
