NFL Season/Week Analysis

and guesses and all that good stuff

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

NFL Season/Week Analysis

Post by Jonathan »

Since the TH is down, I figured this thread needed to be made. And while I won't make a guess on every team, I will predict a Vikings loss to whoever they're playing. And Mike Tice shall loose his job soon thereafter.

We had been doing these through e-mail since the TH was down but I suppose we could do it on here, for now. ;)

Unforunately I haven't had time to make my predictions for this week. Perhaps tomorrow, or the day after.

Without going into much detail, the Viings could be in a lot of trouble cause of some boat trips.

I just want the Falcons and Dolphins to win.

ATLANTA 28 New Orleans 17
MIAMI 24 Tampa Bay 21 ( will be tough)

Tell me about it. Unless the coaches, owners, and NFL take appropriate action (which they probably won't), then I'm no longer going to consider myself a fan of the team. Not that there was much to cheer about this season anyway.

A sports columnist put it best in an article today (2 quotes from article):
It's my opinion that a team should be good. And if not good, then righteous
We need to get those jerseys out of their lockers and let them know that they are no longer fit to wear the purple.

I think I'm insulted by that, COT! ;) Why shouldn't they want some fair-weather, clueless "fan" with ulterior motives? :-s

Oh, dear me, I do get confused so easily. Perhaps that is what I meant - you and Top's Girl's boyfriend can sort that out. ;)

I had to Google the Bengals to know for sure which city they were associated with. \:D/

*appluase* Finally, someone is a fan of the steelers on this board, other than myself. :)

While "Big Ben" isn't having the greatest year yet, and they lost today in OT with the Jacksonville Jaguars, I do have high hopes for them. If they even did halfway ok with Maddox replacing Ben, there is a light at the end of the tunnel... and it isn't a train. *waves terrible towel around like a mad person*

*cough* err...

*Chuckles*

I'm trying quite hard not to be mad at Maddox right now....
And the Steelers defense as a whole was a lamentable thing.

Sarah, I'm not actually that much of a Steelers fan - sorry! I just decided to be in an attempt to win the heart of member here who is a real fan - his girlfriend suggested that it might be a good place to start! ;)

I did hear that they lost, which saddened me greatly. :( Heartfelt condolences to all the real fans out there! :mecry:

I'd be cool with that.

Wouldn't it be cool though? They haven't won the Super Bowl like 9 years and they won today! \:D/

Well, using that as reasoning the Bengals are more deserving to win the Super Bowl... :noway:

I am NOT using the logic that since the Cowboys haven't won in awhile and it would be cool for them to win that they must now win.
Does that make sense?
