Eugene answers your burning questions!
I want to answer questions too, not just ask them. So I created this special topic where I'll answer YOUR questions!! How fun is this?!?
Cool... So, do you need advice about something important (or otherwise)? Have a burning question about my insane life? Maybe you need emergency baking advice to save your muffins that aren't quite turning out correctly? This is the place to ask away and get answers from the me—Eugene!!
*Eugene rubs his hands together in anticipation*

What are your favorite types of muffins?
What is the best way to bake muffins?
Do you have a favorite muffin recipe?

I normally go by N on the chat, but it's actually short for...

Oh goodness ... lots of questions for me to answer!! Let's DO THIS!!!!
But I do gravitate towards blues, reds, purples, pinks, and greens. Also oranges and black/gray. OH!!!! And yellows!!
But the answer is yes, deffos!
OooOOooOooOOOO!!!! I like ALL OF THEM!! But blueberry muffins are deffos up there. I'll usually get the fruit explosion muffins at Timmy's!Danadelfos wrote:What are your favorite types of muffins?
I'm very experienced at muffin baking, and let me tell you...use an oven! Sitting on them and waiting for them to bake doesn't really work.Danadelfos wrote:What is the best way to bake muffins?
Yes and no. I don't really have "favourites" in the sense of a singular, definite thing that I prefer over everything else. But with that being said, my family has a pumpkin raisin muffin recipe that's SOOOOO good! I haven't made them in a while, but like...that's my final answer.Danadelfos wrote:Do you have a favorite muffin recipe?
Run to and from the store when you're getting the ingredients? I'm really not sure.Danadelfos wrote:How do I avoid getting a muffin top while eating many muffins?
Insane things only happen to insane people. Wait a moment...logically that would mean that I'm...?? Nooo... that can't be right. It's probably because I'm speshal!!Danadelfos wrote:Why is your life insane?
Muffins!!Danadelfos wrote:What would make your life less insane and more contemplative?
I've not heard that term before. I did a quick Google and I'm still not entirely sure what it means. So, I suppose that I don't have thoughts on it at this point. If you'd like to explain it to me, I'd like to learn more!Danadelfos wrote:Do you ever do contemplative prayer or what are your thoughts on it?
I have one of those? I guess the best thing right now would be that they confirmed/announced the new Star Trek: Strange New Worlds series!! Exciting life, I know.radgeek wrote:What is the best thing happening in your real life?
Sadly, no. I'm allergic to cats. I wish that I weren't! I pretend to be a cat with some of my friends though... and that's pretty fun.radgeek wrote:Do you have any cats?
I don't do favourites. It's unfair to the other colours.Kaida wrote:What's your favorite color?

Many many, yes. Like, 42. But after you subtract 37.Kaida wrote:Do you have any siblings?
Not math, that's for sure!! Deffos MUSIC/BAND!!!Kaida wrote:What was your favorite school subject?
Now this one is deffos math.Kaida wrote:What was your least favorite school subject?
I think it's partly that my brain is wired such that computers and I just naturally get along very well. I've just always been curious about how things work and how I can make things work a certain way. And through that determination, I figured out how to do the things. Plus my brain really likes the challenge of figuring out electronics and stuffs. I dunno... it's just always been a major part of my life.KnittingFun14 wrote:How did you learn so much with electronics?
Oh yes! But sometimes it's nice to take a break from them. There was a point in my life where all of my socialising happened online... and my work was on computers... so I was staring at screens all of the time. Eventually I had to take a break from computers, which meant I lost touch with a bunch of friends. That was kinda sad.KnittingFun14 wrote:Do you enjoy working with computers?
But the answer is yes, deffos!
I can't remember a time when I wasn't fiddling with electronics and computers. I've always had the interest and aptitude... or maybe it'd be more accurate to say "the susceptibility".KnittingFun14 wrote:How long have you been doing stuff with them?

In terms of contemplative prayer, I haven't really done it. However, I really like this podcast called Encounter. It's a meditative podcast. Meditation like in Psalm 1:2.

What’s your favorite thing you own and why?
What's your go-to dish when you have to make dinner?
Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?
What’s a food you’ve never had but you want to try?

Interesting. I'll keep an eye out for it!Danadelfos wrote:In terms of contemplative prayer, I haven't really done it. However, I really like this podcast called Encounter. It's a meditative podcast. Meditation like in Psalm 1:2.
I like to write, draw, paint, and generally be creative. Used to paddle too, but wasn't able to bring my kayak with me when I moved a few years back. OH! I also love to make music!! I'm really good at piano and used to also play trumpet, clarinet, baritone, drums, acordion, as well as ukulele. I haven't touched any instruments in the past year because of my arthritis and low motivation. BUT I've been getting back into it very recently, especially piano and coming up with little arrangements!Danadelfos wrote:What are your other hobbies outside of computers?
I don't like picking just one when there are sooo many out there. I really enjoy cookie dough, tiger, chunky monkey, any kind of cheesecake flavour, and a good french vanilla!!Danadelfos wrote:What is your favorite ice cream flavor and brand?
I haven't been able to go through that series yet. I started it a few months back with my SO and they zoomed ahead without me after the first two episodes. But I took an online test that said I'm a Waterbender. My SO says that it's pretty accurate.radgeek wrote:Which Avitar: The Last Airbender nation do you best belong in?
Favourite thing I own? Used to be my piano. But I had to leave that behind in my hometown. Now I'm tempted to say that whatever food I just bought but haven't eaten yet is my fave, but that feels like a non-answer and isn't totally accurate. Probably my teddies, especially my big big Nigel bear! Other than that, I also really like my computer equipment and musical instruments.KnittingFun14 wrote:What’s your favorite thing you own and why?
Currently it's pasta. Especially KD, which is short for "Kraft Dinner", which is the Canadian (and superior) boxed Mac & Cheese. I also reach for whatever nummy fruit or snacks are around. But my ultimate favourite food for every meal would be popcorn, if it weren't for my gut not being compatible with it anymore.KnittingFun14 wrote:What's your go-to dish when you have to make dinner?
Eeek... that's difficult. Probably never eat warm food again. Because ice cream and stuffs. But I'd prefer to have both warm and cold.KnittingFun14 wrote:Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?
I dunno... If I haven't tried it yet, then I haven't heard of it yet, so I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly what it is.KnittingFun14 wrote:What’s a food you’ve never had but you want to try?
Oh, shush.Bren wrote:Running behind on answers.
Probably the late nights spent chatting and working on projects years ago, especially with Campbell County and the Whit's End Podcast!! Some of my favourite memories of all time!! It was the bestest.Bren wrote:What is your favorite memory of our friendship?
