Life, life

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

*crawls out of the deep dark depths of schoolwork*

I've been inactive for too long  School has got me like a fly in a spider web. :( Anywho, I hope I can come on more often.

Laundry has to get done some time! It's not that much work.

AWANA photographer sounds like a great job, Lizzy! :D Kids are fun to take pictures of.

I went to a hockey game with my dad tonight, which was very fun. I had bought the tickets as his birthday present, so we went out to dinner and then went to the game. He insisted on buying me an Oreo milkshake afterwards. I tried to argue, but then I remembered that I should honour my father and I gracefully accepted. O:)

For one of my classes, my prof made me a project manager so I'm in charge of one group in the class. I should feel awesome for being one of the project managers, but I just feel more stressed because I don't know everything and I feel like my group and my professor will expect me to know everything. Dx Even though, it's basically just a title since we all are supposed to do work in our project. I'm just supposed to give my professor documents and stuff.

How is that going now? Still really stressed about the position? I'm sure you'll do a great job.

I do. since my internship, I found I like working with them, particularly in smaller groups
I'm a tad nervous about working with a larger group, but fortunately I won't be all alone in it

Congrats Shen. =)

Today, my sister and I were in an FFA public speaking competition (FFA being basically an agriculture club at school) and both did really well! My little sister had to memorize the one page FFA creed, and place second out of five. I wrote an almost 8 minute speech on a new water rule that may greatly impact farmers. I placed first. .... out of one. The top three move on to the next area competition, so my sister and I are preparing for that next Thursday. It's nerve wracking talking in front of judges and being asked questions after giving the speech, but after I did the same competition last year, I really gained confidence in public speaking... so at least it's doing something. ;)

That's my secret snubs, I'm always stressed. #didn'tfeellikequotingyourpost

I dislike public speaking :( @Oxar

Update on the war between myself and this school semester:
I'm conquering all my classes except one. Mainly just because we have no tests or quizzes for that class so I think it's planning a full fledged attack during Finals. I need to prepare my defenses for that.

*drags in and collapses on the floor*

Between the insane amount of work over the holidays, the copywriting gig I'm doing, aaaaaaand all the TV shows I've got to keep up with, I've been ridiculously busy :( WHAT EVEN IS LIFE.

Edit for history (2016/Apr/2): This post was part of this April fools joke .

I was looking forward to a relaxing day today, and it was nice, but it would have been better if I didn't wake up with a sore throat and a cough! :x I'm hoping that it's very short-lived, because I don't want to be sick! (That's a good enough reason, right?) ;)

Use the chatroom! It's been active for a year, and most of you are missing it.

I wasn't yelling. I was talking with vehemence.

It is called Organization of Programming Languages. It's mainly just about what you need to create a programming language
