March Madness?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Have north Florida win it all. They are close enough to Florida right?

I don’t pick them because I go for Florida itself (I do root for the Gators in football though), I just always put the Gators through my bracket because it’s just what I always do. There’s no real reason for it, it’s just my thing. I know absolutely nothing about college basketball so all my picks are entirely clueless.

I'm glad I got on to check for this. Yay.

It's always one of the three brackets I do. \:D/

I got 6 of the Elite 8 right! I think that's good. It seems good for me.

I think it's good too. \:D/ Better than four right, in any event. North Carolina, you have let me down. :(

Another of my Final Four out. I knew this one was a longshot, but I had to try the upset because I thought there was a decent chance. And there was; man this was so close!

My champion made it in though - go Badgers! \:D/

The best I can do is going to be 2 of 4 pending Duke/Gonzaga because my East Region is done.

Nope, just the one. My original bracket actually had Duke winning this matchup but I switched to Gonzaga at the last minute for some reason. Oh well, if I'm just going to have one team left at least it's my winner. \:D/

bookworm... you and I together would've picked a perfect Final Four! \:D/

Final Four update! \:D/Eugene (190 points), Fang (560), Woody (610) and Knight Fisher (690) have been eliminated from winning the tournament.

The Kings Daughter (770) still has possible points remaining, but because she picked the same as AE, she is also eliminated. She could overtake bookworm for second place, though.

That leaves us with two possible champions remaining; bookworm (780) and AE (880).

Here are the remaining possible scenarios for the championship game:
Kentucky over MSU (AE wins)
Kentucky over Duke (AE wins)
Wisconsin over MSU (bookworm wins)
Wisconsin over Duke (bookworm wins)
MSU over Wisconsin (bookworm wins)
MSU over Kentucky (AE wins)
Duke over Wisconsin (AE wins)
Duke over Kentucky (AE wins)

So that's that. \:D/

My beloved Arizona... someday you shall win. And until that day, I shall pick you, EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.

I’m upset with myself because this is actually the final matchup that I wanted all along. I wanted it to be Duke, I thought it would be Duke, I have no idea why I didn’t do that side of my bracket that way. >_> At least I had the other. And I would have still put Wisconsin winning, so the ultimate result is the same either way I guess.
