Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!
I think she sounds good to me. I mean, it sounds like they picked a good match. She will sound like a toddler if the writers don't give her good dialog though. >_> I actually never liked Camilla anyway. I think it was mostly because of the original actor. Camilla just always sounded like a brat, in my opinion.
I was never really fond of Camilla, to be honest, so I don't really care But I can understand why they got a new girl to voice her. In The Holy Hoopster, Camilla was starting to sound a bit old. AIO probably wants to keep her character without her starting to sound older than Olivia.
She's adorable, I don't have anything against her. And if they had picked her originally, well, that would have been one thing. But, I just can't stand such a drastic change. Gah.
I was miffed by this. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that the new actress played Joy in Child's Play. I like her voice a lot, but she doesn't have that tomboyish sound to her voice like Sydney has.
Michaela's voice sounds different, but I'll reserve judgement until I hear her in an entire episode...so, tomorrow! She may have the talent to sound more like Camilla when she's acting, not just chatting in an interview.

I just listened to the new episode with Michaeala in it, and I thought she did a great job. I was never incredibly fond of the original actresses' voice for Camilla, so I don't mind the change, and I do like Michaela's acting. It is a stark contrast, though, to compare Camilla in The Holy Hoopster to Your Servant Is Listening.
I'm never too fond of change, because it always seems like it changes the personality of the character, but I have to admit, I think I technically like this voice better. It's only lesser because it is not original. If this voice was first, and Sydney's came later, I think I'd have been a lot more upset with that change.
