I had my first speech tournament of the year yesterday..... It went pretty well. I heard many well done speeches, but my favorite was one done on Autism. The girl who did it, was Autistic and she did an amazing.

Yesterday and today have been two long days! I feel worn out, and yet most of today and yesterday were spent sitting and knitting while watching activity around me. :( I don't like feeling worn out when I've had barely any physical exercise (the exact reason I don't like to watch movies often - no physical exercise). Maybe I'll drag my sister outside to play some sort of game, or something to get moving... ;)

So I used to think that caffeine didn't affect me because every time I had coffee I could go to sleep without having my sleeping pattern messed up. But yesterday I had about four cups' worth of cappucino, and I was up until 1:30, and then woke up less than five hours later feeling miserable. Whee! \:D/

Saturday morning I woke up and our clocks, cd player, and heater wasn't working. The overhead lights and the heaters in both our room and my parents room wouldn't work either... Being that we were busy/gone all day Saturday and Sunday, we have successfully made it into the third day by using flashlights and lamps in there when it's dark. I can actually appreciate it somewhat - us girls don't have to ask each other before we turn out the light each night. ;) The handyman's been here. I don't know if he's found the problem yet... But going without electricity for part of the day is much easier than going without running water.

Today I learned it's apparently miraculous for me to initiate the hug instead of only hugging when offered.

I am so glad that the ice finally melted off the driveway. I almost fell twice this morning getting the garbage can out and I was wearing my boots. I hate the driveway when it is icy. Today turned out to be a good day. Found a new Lincoln book that I have been waiting for and thought I would have to order.

This weather is bipolar. It was 70 and breezy at 8:30 this morning, and after two hours is was about 50 and rainy. :( I got a huge can of Swiss Miss hot chocolate though, so yay for rainy days on which to drink it! \:D/

Not to mention my good friend and I jumped around in a puddle for over half an hour... we both got soaked, though I won the splash war. He was totally drenched before I was. ;)

It was in the teens and twenties last weekend, it will be well over 50 tomorrow, and down to 19 by Friday. How's that? ;)

You think your weather is bipolar? Yesterday it was 0C (32F) and today it got down to -35C (-31F) with a windchill of -40. And then on the weekend it's supposed to be 7C (45F). It makes no sense.

I mean, it was 13 degrees the next night/early morning... just in the span of two hours? Twenty degrees, clouds, and rain, that day. \:D/

Life is good right now; today was my day off, so I organized my closet and moved the spare bed out of my room to make more space \:D/

I also finally watched October Baby; it was better than I expected. So good.

Yesterday We went to the fabric store and I bought material. Today my big sister will help me sew it into a cloak. I'm so excited!

I'm feeling rather unorganized right now... headaches aren't generally a good thing when you're trying to get stuff like schoolwork done. =P

I'm heading to Winter Camp-o-rama later for the first time as a non-competitor, hopefully to watch our guys win 2 years in a row. \:D/

I'm extremely excited to be heading to Texas tomorrow! \:D/ Aside from all this packing that I need to do *meaning I haven't started yet* :anxious: I'm so ready to go.

I realized that I don't have another free weekend until the first week of April, and that for 4 of those weekends I'll be in different states  Let the spring craziness begin!
