I'm Going To Be A Published Author *dances for joy*

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

I'm Going To Be A Published Author *dances for joy*

Post by Movieman »

I know I haven't been around for several years, but I was just thinking of the ToO yesterday and I thought to come back and say hi to everyone (for those that were around when I was here).
Coincidentally, I have written a historical sci-fi book that is being published in March 2013 and I wanted to share about it because I know there are many book-a-holics on this site.

I don't want to give away too much, but it's about a guy who ends up finding a way to travel through time and meet the different characters from the Bible. He's sort of a bad guy at the beginning of the series (this book being part 1 of a 3-part series), but by the end the collective experiences he has gone through make him a better person.

You can read a free preview of my book here:

I hope that all of you will want to buy it when it comes out. \:D/

Yay, I'm finally a published author! Check out my website.

Hi Movieman! Long time, no see!

I'll go check out your site right now. \:D/
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

If anyone wants to help me get the word out about my upcoming book, there are a few ways you can do so.

1.) Go to my site (in my signature) and sign up for my newsletter. I will be raffling off some cool stuff closer to the release date of my book (March 2013), and if you sign up you get entered to win.

2.) "Like" my author page on facebook.

3.) If you're on twitter, click to "follow" my feed.

4.) Tell all your friends! Especially if they like to read science fiction or historical fiction. The more traffic I get to my website, the further up in Google search results that it will show.

5.) Repost a blog I wrote on your facebook or twitter account.

6.) If you own a blog, I will give you a free copy of my book when it comes out in exchange for a review (an honest one, of course) and an author interview posted to your blog.

Congrats on being published! That's quite an accomplishment, and one I know a lot of people aspire to. I'll definitely go "like" and "follow" you.
"And the Lord saw that man had created the Internet, and He was most distressed. For once people started using chatspeak and improper grammar, their level of smartness was decreased by more than 500%. And so the Lord removed all the gifts he had once bestowed on man, and it was very sad." The Book of Marvin, Chapter 351, Verse 442.
