General Prayer Requests
My grandma is still in the hospital....but the new update is that her lungs are shutting down. So we aren't sure how much longer she has left. If you guys could pray that she'll receive Christ, and that she'll pass away without being in any pain. Thanks so much, I'd really appreciate it.

So sorry to hear that, Anomone! Praying.
EDIT: Oh, by the way, I also have a prayer request. I know this family who moved here recently. The mom has been driving several states away to her home town very regularly in the past couple weeks because of different family members' health issues. Their life has been pretty hectic as the mom is trying to work, homeschool 4 kids, and drive back and forth lately. Just the other day her son got a concussion at football practice...
So if you wouldn't mind praying for them, I'm sure they'd appreciate it.

I am going to be doing a magic show at our All Saints Day celebration, and could use some prayers that it goes well.

I'm taking my drivers test tomorrow morning, and I'm pretty scared. Driving with a complete stranger, who's writing down your every mistake seems pretty stressful and stuff.
Prayers that it goes well and that I do okay would be greatly appreciated!

My friends' dad is going to have a surgery tomorrow. He already lost a leg through cancer, and now he has about 32 tumors in his left lung. Tomorrow morning they will be trying to get rid of the tumors by freezing them. I'm sure he, his family, and the doctors would all appreciate prayer.
@JP: How did your drivers test go? =)

Congrats, JP! I'm glad to hear it went well. =)
My friends' dad came out of surgery in the late morning today. The only complication that I'm aware of, is that for some reason one of the tumors they were going to attack they ended up not doing. Right now he's just really sore. They'll have him come back in 4-6 weeks to get some more worked on. Thanks so much for prayers, I know they appreciate them!

Pray for my church. I've recently updated the situation in the "Spiritual Warfare" thread, if anyone wants to take a look. Also, mods, is there any way for that post to be a new post instead of merging into a triple post automatically? Thanks.

Praying, the_newfie_haystack. May God bring you all out of this terrible situation!
And about my friends' dad who had the surgery last week - he went home and got a fever (=infection)! Saturday night, I heard that the fever was getting pretty high (they did take him to a local hospital when the fever came on). More prayer for healing would be very much appreciated, I'm sure. :\

Praying for everyone's requests! If y'all could pray for the success of the performances of the play I'm in and for one of my fellow actress who was suddenly called into work this week when she was given the week off, that she will be less frustrated, that would be awesome!

That would be frustrating, Gracy! I'll be praying for your friend, and for the success of your performance. Break a leg!

Haha. In Old England, bowing was considered to "break" the straight leg line of standing. Bowing several times meant that the audience loved your performance.Wooton Z. Bassett wrote:NO! Wow, that's really interesting - I have never heard that explanation before. I always thought it was because actors were superstitious and didn't want to wish someone good luck.
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. ♡

I'll be praying for her Woody.
I'm taking the SAT tomorrow morning, and I'm rather nervous. Prayers that I would stay calm and do well would really be appreciated.
