How old are the characters?

other than Whit, we all know he's 500 years old

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Here's how I imagine the characters ages to be, but how about you?


Whit: 70s or 80s
Connie: 24
Penny: 28
Wooton: 31
Jason: 38
Tom: 69
Jack: 70s or 80s
Eugene: 27
Matthew: 12
Ollivia: 12
Camilla: 8
Emily: 11
Pricilla: 11
Barrett: 10
Buck: 14
Harlow Doyle: 41
Monty Whittaker: 22

Matthew and Olivia can't be the same age, actually--they're a year apart. And Barrett--whether he acts so or not--is actually older than Emily, who is the same age as Matthew. I'd wager that Olivia, Barrett, and Priscilla are all about thirteen or so, whereas Matthew and Emily are eleven, which would put Camilla at about nine.

Buck, I'd say, is about sixteen or seventeen. His voice sounds like it. I think Jack and Whit are probably in their early-to-mid seventies.

My reflexes immediately sprang to life in an attempt to navigate an evasive manouveur around you while still maintaining course and speed, but I evidently over-compensated, and my Schwinn careened off the hardened path, taking me with it, and up-ended us both in this shrub, a Rhododendron of the heath family I believe, deducing from the leathery evergreen leaves, as distinguished from the deciduous Azalea, which as we all know is..."

Ah, I see. Haven't listened in awhile. I usually nurse my Odyssey addiction with Trandy episodes pre-51 albums. Sorry. He sure doesn't sound like any fourteen-year-old boy I've ever met.

I agree with Ginny. Barrett, Pricilla, and Olivia are older than 12. Probably 13 or 14.

Interesting idea that Penny is older than Connie. I have always thought that they were the same age because they were in the same college class but that doesn't prove anything. Are you making her older to make the whole Penny/Wooten thing work? Personally, I don't think an age difference matters in relationships. Anyway, 24 and 31 isn't so bad!

Also, we know Eugene was 27 in Album 45-ish (Since Prisoners of Fear took place before Album 44).
