What have you bought lately?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

True, but I'm thinking that he was implying something else.

A container of candy is pretty small but holds like 50 pieces of candy (I'm thinking of smarties here) and so if she's eating watermelon like candies it would take a pretty big container to hold all of the 50 watermelon.
That's how I took it at least...

Also today I bought a pair of dress pants for $5 when they were regularly $65. They were supposed to be $50, but then they were on a $10 or less rack, and then they were 50% off. I was super excited!!!

He? No, the original post was by me, and that's what I meant.

The last things I bought were... clothes... and I think a few other things. But! The next thing I'm going to buy is a French Press :D

She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. And when we go to heaven she'll be there to greet us. She'll be there to say "Welcome home." -From a poem that SnC wrote about her grandmother

...blast from the past! \:D/

I'm currently looking at buying a transmission for my car. $675 plus the labor, so easily over a thousand bucks. I haven't spent that much money since a long time ago.

Plenty of food and a pack of pencils--I was on a chuch choir missions trip this past week, so I needed food. I bought the pencils because we were at a gas station, we had, like, seven or eight more hours to go, I was afraid of running out of pencil lead, and they didn't have more pencil lead.
