Sorry! I didn't even know that I had come to that assumption until I realized that I was surprised when I found out you were a girl. I just have never met any female Chandler's before! If it makes you feel any worse, I think I kinda slightly imagined you as Mathew Perry's character from Friends!

Indeed, this often occurs when people use names normally associated with the opposite gender. Although I'm puzzled when I use an alias such as Trent DeWhite and certain individuals think I'm a she. Heh. The Clay avatar always throws off these gullible people. Truth be told, I had always envisioned Chandler as a female. Perhaps it was the manner in which she wrote.

I know that Chandler has been a male name in the past... but when you think about what girls are named today... McKenzie, Taylor, Cameron... I wouldn't be surprised to find girls named Chandler either.
