He looks like a mongoloid.

He looks too fat...and too big of a head.

Bring back the original Whit!

Agreed, the more work they do him and the more it changes the less and less it looks like Mr.WhitikerThe Top Crusader wrote:Bring back the original Whit!

Seriously, when I think of Whit, that is the image that comes to mind. Each newer version just gets weirder and weirder looking... >_> I'd take the first more cartoonish look over the more recent stuff...
Yeah that is a good picture ,probably one of the best pictures of Whit out thereLaurie wrote:I agree. The Top Crusader wrote:THIS is who we want as our Whit!!!!

Definitely the bestThe Top Crusader wrote:THIS is who we want as our Whit!!!!
I actually don't agree that that picture is the best of Whit. Can you see any Whit voice coming out of that picture? Something they take into consideration (I think) when they draw the pictures is if the picture looks like it could have the voice of the character. I can definitely see Paul Herlinger's voice coming out of the new-er (not the newest) cartoon Whit. And I think the reason they made the newest Whit was to match the voice. (now, the voice is a whole different discussion)
But I think that this new Whit looks very much like Andre Stojka's voice. Also, in the character description of Whit (in the Complete Guide) they say that Whit had part of his ear blown off from shrapnel. To hide this wound, Whit grows his hair longer (according to the description) to cover his ears. The very old Whit didn't have long hair, so...it's not completely accurate. Anyway, if that's the way that you guys think of Whit...that's fine...it's a Radio show anyway...the playhouse of the mind, so it's not really up to me to say what Whit does or doesn't look like....just sayin'.

Whit is no hippie.

What seriously?
ANY version of Whit is better then THAT version. That's just... not Whit.

That's the writers' problem...I'm just saying that's how they described him.The Top Crusader wrote:Whit is no hippie.
There ya go!The Complete Guide to Adventures in Odyssey wrote: There are, however, a few things him from other men his age. For instance, he walks with a slight limp. He also has a small "L" shaped scar above his right eyebrow, but it's only noticeable when his face is flushed. He has a full head of silver-colored hair which is worn longish to cover the upper half of his ears. This might be considered unusual for a man of his age, but there is a reason for it: The top part of his right ear is missing. Because of his hair, even some of the long-time residents of Odyssey have yet to notice this war wound. He also sports a full mustache, which is, of course, the same color as his hair. Someone one said he looks like a cross between Mark Twain and C.S. Lewis
I posted my thoughts on the new logo page, but I'll repost a few thoughts here. I actually like the new picture of Whit, though I will never imagine Whit looking like that. Lately the pictures of Whit have been very Creepy looking, (in some he has like twelve double chins and a really creepy smile.) so this is an improvement to me.
I also said on the other topic that because I grew up listening to Odyssey at the same time that I was watching the cartoons I always have and always will picture Whit the way he did on these movies. Personally I think that's the best picture for Whit. Brown jacket with a red sweater, brown pants, same walrus moustache and overweight, but not round as a ball like in some of his newer pictures.

Yep. Using my signature for a shameless plug. But trust me. If I can be so arrogant, I think it'll be worth your time.

Plus he had like an evil giant nose for a while there recently.
