Thing of the Day Discussion Thread

Post by King Butter Turtle »

Since King Regis is doing this awesome verse/joke/quote/word/trivia/misc. tidbit of the day thing, we though there ought to be a place to discuss it. So, you can post here if we happened to use your favorite Bible verse when you were having a bad day, you hate a quote and think it's really dumb, you laughed out loud at a joke and people looked at you funny, or anything else pertaining to this. :)

History

I used to think life would never change
I used to think it would always be the same
I felt so lost and all alone

Cool! I've enjoyed the first two tidbits of the day! A very good idea. Will there be a place to archive all of the different tidbits? (Maybe this thread?) I think something like that would be fun to go back and read. It would also provide a place to catch up on them when people have absences. Just a thought!

That's a great idea, Taq. I would post it in the first post, except... this thread is messed up. But, it'll be up there.^ :anxious:

You have my permission to delete my post (and perhaps Regis'), and become the first post so you can update that.

Am I the only user who thinks this would be a better formatting for the header?

...or even... ...instead of... Personally, it seems a little cluttered/unfashionable. I enjoyed today's song, though! \:D/

I have the AWAE syndrome. That's agreeing with AE syndrome. :(

But yeah, it would look sorta better as style one. Style two is OK, but not my favorite.

Those have been tried. It still centers the text. It is how the announcement box is set up. I would have to change it for every future announcement to make it work.

I didn't get it until I read the thread...I was wondering why random definitions were popping up onscreen.

I do! So if I licked 10 stamps, I'd get 1 calorie, so I'm gonna lick a 1000 stamps!

Marvin is now accepting stamps to lick. ;)

That's what I thought. Where would you even buy a lickable stamp?
