Memories...
Memories...
I thought that we should have a special topic for memories of SnC. I always think it's wonderful to hear memories...as long as they're good.
My memory isn't really anything that she did or said, but more of..well, I'm not sure how you would say it. Anyway, what meant a lot to me, especially since I didn't know her that well, apart that she was a great Christian, funny, and wonderful, was her username. When I got on the ToO after a hard day or stressful afternoon, and I happened to see her username, it really gave me strength and hope. It reminded me that we really could be Strong in Christ. And, I will never forget that.
But, I want to some of your memories...and, always remember, she's in a much better place where she is rejoicing with God and his angels.
Love Always,
Aly

First time I logged into the ToO, I was exploring a bit and one of the first usernames I saw was StrongNChrist- I was surprised (then) that somebody was so zealous after Him so as to put their username like that. After a while I noticed that her posts were often good natured and I could just look at her name on the post and know that it was going to be something either funny or helpful to others. When I got immersed in RPG's, she was of the first who's posts I could tell were well thought out and had a bright, imaginative mind behind it. The latter was confirmed when I finally got to talk to her in the Chat rooms, and then later in iGoogle chat. I guess I admired her in a way- and not only because she had traits that I was still trying to master, but because she was so friendly about it, even when she was extremely tired some nights... Even if I didn't know her that well, I'm most certainly going to miss her...

SNC and I always would make fun of one another's grammar. We would spend so much time picking on one another. All in fun, of course, but we go to know each other better through those conversations.
I love the way she would never end a sentence with a period if it ended with a smily
We often discussed the best way to start writing stories and how to find good story ideas. She was always so inspiring. She often encouraged me in my own writing. When I told her that I was writing a book about Robin Hood that I hoped would be published, she helped to encourage me in that as well.
And lastly, she and I both shared the nickname, "Random Anti Random". She came up with it first, and I shared with her after I became an Anti. We had many laughs over it.
Tears are flying off my cheeks, so I need to stop. But those are just a few of my favorite memories.

I felt I had to bump this... it's a sad time, but there are still so many happy memories.
Such as our conversation with Mabel. Remember, TDK? :')

Oh my goodness, that made me laugh. xD
"Nah. Just of computer bots taking over the world"
"Because you trust me."
And SnC playing evil scientist always turned out to be the best of the spur of the moment role playing.

I remember how she helped me in my writing. She gave me constrictive criticism and encouraged me. I remember her wanted to read a story of mine once I finished it. She was never able to, and I never finished the story. But, I did share it to those whom I knew loved SNC. I dedicated it to her, and even though I will never complete that story, I am forever grateful that I got to share it with a few people.

That was one of my favorite memories, even if I ended up headless >< I should re-read it. .The Kings Daughter wrote:Oh my goodness, that made me laugh. xD

I was going through some old topics when I came across the time SNC asked me 491 questions. A few of them brought tears to my eyes. The thing is... I told her that I had "better things to do than answer all her questions". Good grief, am I ever glad I decided to take the time to complete it! Staying up past 3am was so worth it.
Whoot, whoot! I can't wait to see you again, SNC.

During the questionaire, she mentioned her back hurting, ear pain, a lack of sleep and a current headache. Even though Lisa is missed here on earth immensely, it's so great to know she's living pain-free and eternally happy in the care of Jesus.American Eagle wrote:Well, I sure would. I never knew SNC, but she sounds like a wonderful person and I can't wait to meet her in Heaven someday

The number of times I've heard "I didn't know her, but..." made me wonder how many people have joined since then. I just counted, and there are 43 users with more than 10 posts that have joined since she died.

I wish I had known her as well. She sounds like she really loved God. What happened to her?
I'm sure the topic about is in this forum, but on March 25th, 2011 she and her boyfriend died in a car crash.

I joined about a month and a half before SnC was gone. I really wish I had used that time to get to know her better. Now that I've said that, I realize that I should make the most of every opportunity on here with everyone right now.
