Horse Racing 2020

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Horse Racing 2020

Post by bookworm »

A month later than usual we're about to start off a very abnormal racing season due to Covid-19 delays and rescheduling.

This Saturday, June 20th, the Belmont Stakes - usually the last leg of the triple crown - will lead things off, but run at less than its usual distance. There will also be no fans in attendance.

The Kentucky Derby will be run on September 5th. The Preakness Stakes will be run on October 3rd.

The Breeder's Cup remains on its originally scheduled day, November 7th.

Discuss developments in the new season of races here! It's going to definitely be an interesting one.

As usual I plan to live chat each of the jewel races and the finale in the main Chatroom channel #aio if anyone else is watching them and wants to come by. All are on NBC.
