The book list!

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

I"ve read 34 of them. Yeah, I'm a bookworm. I'm curious to know how old this list is. A lot of them have been recent movies. A lot of better-deserving books need to be on there. Like someone else said, Where's Pilgrim's Progress?? I've heard that that book has sold the most copies of any book, second only to the Bible. ( I could be wrong)
Eugene Meltsner? I don't think so. Secret agents wear sunglasses and drive around in cool cars. Eugene wears coke-bottle glasses and rides around on a bike.

J.K. Rowling was the only person to become a billionaire by writing. Just a side note here. And there is a reason, her books are so good. \:D/

The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed.
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Reprint this list in your own Xanga so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them ;)

I've read 26. I suppose a fourth isn't bad at all. And of course, I don't know about some of the books on this list. Some of these I don't really think are essential reads. I really wish I could have said I've read Les Mis, though. That's definitely on my list.

O.k. So I have read that many(8%) but I'm only 12 so I have a few years still. And I don't want to read to many of those until I'm older. I haven't finished the Hobbit yet but I'm also done.
