Is the Empire also known as Tommy Nelson is some cirlces? ;) I dislike a lot of the new artwork as well. It's too fake-y and over the top. The newest art work for the Eugene Returns set isn't too bad, but the cover for the Eugene Sings CD looks terrible! Eugene's hair on both of these sets looks ter...

I wear a size 8 ladies'. I would like to join Jessicado's protest again small shoes on display. There are so many shoes and sandals that look adorable in a size 5, but look dumb on my size 8 feet. It's very annoying.

I used to read those all the time! I loved them when I was a kid. In grade nine, we had one period a week where we had to go to the school library and read or do homework. A couple of my friends and I devoted several of those classes to reading books from our childhoos, mainly Bernstein Bears books!...

I'm really looking forward to the new movie. I've seen one of the old BBC ones, and thought that it was terrible. I've read all the books several times, and continue to love them. My favourite is The Horse and His Boy . I adore the way that FOTF Radio Theatre does all of the books, especially that o...

This thread is bringing back so many memories! I still have Goodnight, Moon somewhere! \:D/ I think it's behind some other books on my bookshelf at home. I vaguely remembering stumbling across it a few years ago and putting it somewhere safe, where it wouldn;t get lost of misplaced. I'm not entirely...

I've always loved the book of Ruth, and Three Funerals and a Wedding only made me like it more! I love a lot of the classic Bible stories in Genesis, too, however. As for the NT, I don't know if I have a favourite. Philippians is good...I guess that's what I would pick if I had to choose one. But th...

While we're on the topic.. I'm not homeschooled, but I recently did a presentation on the Homeschool Movement, and bumped into lots of jokes during my research. Please note that these are not meant to be offensive - I just think that they're funny! How does a homeschooler change a lightbulb? First, ...

Conspiracy theory! W. Bassett and more

One of my textbooks has all the chapters written by different people, and I just noticed the names of two co-authors of a chapter. In Foundations of Christian School Education edited by James Braley, Jack Layman, and Ray White, copyrighted 2003, the authors of the chapter entitled "Teaching Met...

Come on, Jonathan - we want to know what you're wearing too. ;) I'm wearing the same pajamas that I was wearing last time that I posted on this thread, but tomorrow I will be wearing jeans and a light blue 3/4 length sleeve dress shirt, since I have to do a group presentation. And navy and white Win...

I've been to Valley Fair! I went last summer and went on Wild Thing two or three times. It wasn't that bad. I thought that I might be kind of scared on real rides, but I wasn't. Valley Fair was the first real amusement park that I had been to, so I'm not one of those people who have lots of ride exp...
