Re: My New Years Eve Shenanigans
It was fun, Kaida. And yes I can explain: I got a cardboard box, taped it shut, and then taped a bunch of things on it, including old syllabuses, as well as index cards. On those, I wrote significant events that happened this year in my life. I do explain in the video, but I understand if you skippe...

Re: Star Wars 7
I understand that some people apparently already thought prior to the release of the movie that Han would probably die ... I can see how it can fit powerfully with the story, but I still don't care for it. It had nothing to do with the story for me, I was sure it would happen simply by virtue of Ha...

haha, yep. It was a lot of fun. I wasn't expecting an explosion, but it was awesome nonetheless (and way louder in real life)

Re: The Birthday Thread
Happy Birthday to UNCLEBITTLES \:D/ To StrongNChrist: I didn't know you very well, but from what I've heard you were a good person and you made a difference around here. I hope your birthday is amazing (I'm sure it is, up there in heaven), so Happy Birthday and I look forward to meeting you in the f...

My New Years Eve Shenanigans
What I did to mark the end of 2015. It wasn't midnight yet, but I still decided to do this
I formally apologize for the mild swearing

Re: Star Wars 7
I think it's 2015, and the time for more representation in a Star Wars movie has come. And also, Oscar Isaac isn't white. Neither is the actress Lupita Nyong'o who did the motion capture for Maz I know, and totally realize that. I just thought it was rather humorous since the other 6 movies are rat...

Re: Star Wars 7
If I recall, they weren't drawing from any of the expanded universes when they made this movie, just the movies.

Re: Star Wars 7
Exactly. and like I said, Finn was probably trying to kind of imitate what Kylo was doing. Combined with his own stormtrooper training, and all the things we've already mentioned, "basic use" for Finn extends just a tand farther than the average person. anyway, did you have a favorite new...

Re: Star Wars 7
It's interesting hearing theories about whether or not regular people can use light sabers at all. I read one that said that normal people can try to use them, but it's only Force sensitive people who can use them well, and really have more of an advantage. At this point, wasn't Rey temporarily dow...

Re: Star Wars 7
I get what you're saying about Finn, but for me, I'm just banking on him having basic weapons training and trying to use that here. But in all fairness, he didn't beat Kylo Ren. And about Rey, you're right about her having that skill before with her staff, so naturally that would carry on to using ...

first off, it's Doctor Who and second..The Top Crusader wrote:Well if it isn't a video review of Dr. Who you'll have to post about it elsewhere.
I'm excited about this show, seeing all the characters work together and figure out how to be a team with their different backgrounds and personalities

Re: Doctor Who: The Next Doctor review
thanks for commenting and for being willing to watch them. just a warning that I don't remember all the details of every episode, so it's basically just my musings on what I remember. I forgot about Time of the Doctor, I'll add that in. btw, I'm not doing End of Time, just because that's a two parte...
