Are we going tonight? I'm sure a few of my compatriots are interested in that barbaric sporting event that's happening right now.

Dangit.

Well, see you next week. Good luck.
Have fun, dude! They're great live. :) I'm seeing them next week, so I will be absent for next week's session.

I'm so sorry my avatar offends you, however, I believe in the right to free speech, so I will not be changing it, regardless of whether or not it triggers you. Incidentally, I do think that making the ToO a great, quality message board is an admirable goal. I did not, in fact, ask you to change you...

A Very Woody Anniversary

Friends, Family, and Countrymen! Today is a joyous occasion! For on this very day, five years ago, a young n00b called Shakespeare didst make his very first post. He was immature, laughable, perhaps even trollish. But this young padawan was destined for greatness... (Sorry, was that vain?) Yes, frie...

Re: US Election 2016 General Discussion Topic

So, confirmation hearings have begun on Trump's cabinet picks. Anyone have any thoughts? Hopes for which will pass and which will be denied? The big one for me is Rex Tillerson. I sincerely hope the Senate has the sense to reject the idea of this guy being our Secretary of State. Not only is he unqu...

Re: 811 & 812: Legacy

Well, this spoiler is actually making me consider getting back into Odyssey. I haven't listened since Album 60. One question:
Is Tom's 'Legacy' actually honored? I've heard a few mixed reviews that the tone of the episode is all over the place between silly and somber.

The LEGO Batman Movie

"The LEGO Movie" is getting a spin-off sequel starring Will Arnett's Batman. I had heard about this, but didn't realize it was coming out so soon. I thought it was a bit of a silly idea when I first heard about it, but after seeing the trailers, I'm actually kind of excited to see where th...

Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew trailers! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBR5u6clw6g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYHv3GJtjto I'm actually getting genuinely excited for this movie. \:D/ My reasoning is that since Cars 2 was so awful, they'd have to have an amazing idea to try reviving the franchise. ;P

Oooooh, I really want to see that one, Catspaw. Sadly, none of my 'in real life' friends get excited about romantic musicals. :(

The last movie I saw was "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". It was alright, for a Marvel Movie, but far inferior to the first Captain America.

Re: What books are you reading?

I'm currently reading "Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer" by John Grisham. I've been meaning to read it since I was actually in the target age range, and I'm finally getting around to it now. It's a fun read. :)
