Re: 966-969: The Best is Yet to Come
I just listened to the new album and found these episodes, especially the last one, quite moving. I echo a lot of thoughts from others in this thread about how well the voice and send-off was done. I was definitely crying along with Connie in a couple of spots. Overall very well done. I'm curious to...

Re: Cheese
Sounds yummy! Every now and then I buy dill harvati and it's super yummy on sandwiches.

Re: Inside Out 2
Haha, looks cute! The first one was really good. I haven't seen it in a long time so I'll have to rewatch before the sequel is out.

Re: What books are you reading?
I'm currently reading The Mill on the Floss by George Eliot. It's good! I was familiar with Silas Marner , but I never bothered looking up her other stuff, so now I have lots of options to choose from. Neat! I'm not familiar with anything beyond Silas Marner either so I'll have to check this one ou...

Let us know what you think! I keep seeing ads for it but I still can't muster up much interest. A great review from you would at least make me mildly curious.

Maybe your lack of answering the question from three years ago made people avoid the topic?

Re: What books are you reading?
I'm starting "A Model of Devotion" by Mary Connealy. I finally made it to the end of the trilogy. It's been kind of meh but I do want to give the last book a chance to redeem the series a bit.

Re: Toy Story NFL Broadcast
Thanks for the clip, bookworm. I can say I wouldn't watch that for long, though as someone who watches, at most, one CFL game per week and one NFL game per year I might not represent football mania.

That's a great idea. A month won't break the bank and that way you can get some favourites and new episodes in and see what you think!

That sounds extremely...odd. Cool, but very gimmicky. I'm curious as to how this will turn out.

Re: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
My reaction might be an outlier, at least partly based in lack of interest in caring about the DC universe. There's a lot of stuff to watch, and this just doesn't look that great to me, but I'm also not at all invested in the characters or connections.

Re: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
I'm pretty meh on DC and have only seen a few things here and there. I saw Aquaman a while back and wasn't amazed. It was fine, just not enough to make me want to invest in the universe. I watched the trailer to see if it might change my mind, but I think I'll just stick to not bothering.

Re: Catching Up
Hey Jonathan! Great to see you around. I'm not that much help because I have a Club subscription (though like you, I also have a CD player in my car and prefer to listen that way), and I have always meant to listen to the Club episodes but still haven't. :anxious: I can say that there have been some...

I hope the book is just what you're hoping for, Laurie!
I'm starting "Inventions of the Heart" by Mary Connealy. The first one in the series was kind of meh, so I'm hoping this second one in the series is better.

Re: Life, life
I'm enjoying the end of summer, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the nice weather. I've been working on a puzzle that I am making extremely slow progress on - really exciting stuff.
