I know this is kind of off-topic, but I got my roommate assignment today! Her name is Tamesha, and I think she must live near me because she has the same area code as me. I tried to call her, but apparently she's on vacation this week, so I sent her an email. Yay!

What'd you change it to? The one that matches mine, only it's darcie@(mail) instead of rachel@(mail)?

I prefer not to give that information out online. I've only told one person so far, and that was because I was trying to convince him to come study missions there with me.

As far as college roommates go, I opted out of having my best friend room with me. Not that I really have a best friend that's going to college with me (well, the one who is going is a guy, and that's just not going to happen!) It's just part of the experience to have a roommate you don't know until...

my mom HATES talking on the phone, but I really don't have a problem with it, provided I can hear the other person. I guess that's why my mom hates it-- she has a hearing disability.

I'm hoping that the fact that someone is taking a long time replying to my PM means they're going to send me a nice long one, not that they don't intend to reply.
