I like how it was set in the early 2000s, felt like a real period piece.

I love this thread, both of AE and I were so cringe. I think I had a stroke reading this.

Re: Scale Modelling

I don't but, it's an interesting hobby. I do a lot of mapping and hydrologic models for my job, so in a sense... maybe, but far removed. I'm not building a scale Burj Khalifa out of toothpicks or anything if that's what you're referring to. Do you?

I am a manager of the engineering and fabrication departments at an aerospace/defense company. :) Raytheon boi. I have had some mild interaction with them. 8-) Does that make me part of the military industrial complex :anxious: I used to work for some lockheed subs, I think we're all part of it at ...

I didn’t do this one but I definitely filled out my work one… it has a $1000 1st prize so I couldn’t not.

The Kentucky upset really hurt me. I picked Auburn to win it all because nobody EXPECTS them to win, but they’re the best non-popular pick with a chance.

Re: Acid Reflux

Used to. Had my gallbladder removed and it’s completely gone. Never felt better… don’t get gallstones guys, they’re whack. For most cases a round of omeprazole (make sure you take the full course) will knock it out for a good six months or so, but if it’s a chronic thing that keeps happening you pro...

It's a good thing your name starts with the letter b . Yes, that's really one only reason we picked him. Otherwise it was a tie between you, EK, and Top. :( I’m too busy being entangled with the trucker convoy. Yes, I hear that honking a horn all day near residential areas can really cut into peopl...

Re: Places You've Lived

Born and raised in the beautiful state of Virginia...lived in 5 towns around the state. Moved down to Georgia when I got married at age 29. It's been interesting getting used to the weather here....so hot and humid. I do miss the scenery and temperatures in VA, but it's not too bad here in GA. Defi...

I don’t think I go a day without wearing a hat. I’m not bald or even close to it… but it’s just a thing I do. Ugh, Covid. I’ve been booster’d and still caught it twice. (The second time with the booster, the first time just with the first two doses.) The first time I believe was the delta variant, which I 100% guarantee I caught at the Kanye show in Atlanta late last year. (Probably shouldn’t have gone, but...

Sam’s Club has this big bag of Reese’s Popcorn that is pretty smackin, but it’s also basically just a handful of sugar.
