Re: Finding Nemo 2 / Finding Dory 2015!

They started working together long before 2006, sure, but given that Disney did not own Pixar prior to 2006 and was merely it's distributor, and that they bought Pixar only when the distribution agreement expired, they had an incredibly small say in Pixar's storytelling. My concern now is that Disn...

Re: Finding Nemo 2 / Finding Dory 2015!

I think Disney is starting to have an effect on the story telling power of Pixar (Brave being the example here), so I'm taking a wait and see attitude with Pixar from now on. How on earth did so many people completely miss the point of Brave . >_< I don't know if they missed the point so much as re...

Re: Life, life

A landscaping firm mows my lawn but I am responsible for the areas that they won't do. The problem I have is that my lawn needs mowing but because of all of the rain my area has gotten it is too wet to do any of it. I would pay good money to find out who you are and how you pay your bills, Laurie. ...

Re: Life, life

Their pickles are gross. :(

Never had their cheesecake, but I don't like cheesecake anyways. Another of my 'outrageously unbelievable' dislikes. :(

I am, however, enamored with their lemonade. \:D/

Re: Revolution

Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I don't get the part about the little machines floating in the air, or whatever. Maybe they'll explain it later. I was paying attention, and I didn’t get it. ;) This was definitely just a quick introduction to a real explanation yet to come. My speculation from ...

My family always seemed to die of snakebite. :( *hums music from the Soda Springs stop* lol I read this without seeing the previous post. I was like...wut. \:D/ Am I the only one who thinks Chick-fil-a is not that great? I mean, don't get me wrong, I really like their stuff, but it is kind of bland...

Re: Revolution

Ya, the mom totally annoys me. Jason didn't surprise me so much - he's basically the only love interest for Charlie so you knew they had to bring him back in as a good guy sooner or later. :p Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I don't get the part about the little machines floating in the air, or ...

I have a feeling if I had seen Blue Like Jazz I would've voted for it...maybe. But I went for The Dark Knight Rises, although Lincoln may have been it.

Sloth. If I were a sloth, sloth would not be a sin. I would sloth all day long and then when I died I would end up in sloth heaven.

Re: Favourite poems

@ric--we've been going through Wordsworth's works in class, and we had to read that poem too. We read several of his sonnets as well, and I liked a lot of them. Awesome. My poetry section kind of sucks. Reading poetry for school is always less enjoyable. :( Another one I really like is "The Lo...

Re: Favourite poems

Poetry is great. I've been reading Wordsworth and Dickinson lately, and I found this awesome three-volume collection of English poetry in the basement that I've been going through. One of Wordsworth's that I really like is 'Ode on Intimations of Immortality....' which is kind of long but I'll post i...

It was probably about 50% bad, 50% good. I still like the show a lot though. Need to watch season four eventually.

Just finished "Variant" by Robinson Wells \:D/ Wow. What a page-turner! I couldn't put that book down. And the plot twist at the end was absolutely unexpected and fascinating. *trundles off to see if he can find it* I just finished Open Minds, per Mercy's recommendation. I really didn't l...

Re: Doctor Who- Best/Worst Episodes

A lot of seasons 1, 2, and 3 were pretty bad. And those are the only seasons I've seen. :p I really, really liked the one where they were in this shuttle thing and there was this life form inside some woman's body. I don't remember what it was called, but for some reason I really liked it. Silence i...
