Re: The Paw Suggestion Box
I think making the chat more prominent is something that can be arranged. I see it's on the logo bar at the top, as well as a link below it, but I'll think on a few ideas. I might try to incorporate it more prominently on a site redesign.

Re: The Legendary Term
Thanks for the feedback so far everyone! So far, what I'm gathering is that the money/rewards system is extremely important to most everyone and that archiving the board would be very unpopular. I'm happy to accommodate both of those requests! I also have no issue with leaving Harlequin and Finneman...

Re: Abandoned AIOSODA Redesign
Even if I had the time, which I don't, I don't know if there's much value in redesigning the Soda Fountain. AIOWiki has proven extremely successful and most of the content that was on the Soda Fountain can now be found there and then some. Plus, my goal was always to make the Soda Fountain more inte...

Re: The Legendary Term
Another thing I just noticed (while posting my abandoned AIOSoda redesign image ) is that we have an attachment quota? I don't really know any details about it, but it seems super useful, and I have unlimited disk space, so I've increased the limit from 80 megs (which I imagine was hit long, long ag...

Abandoned AIOSODA Redesign
Just came across this today and forgot all about it. I redesigned AIOSODA.com about 5 years back with the intention of releasing... but I never finished it. Here's a sample of what it looked like... you could actually log in and comment on my site using your ToO account. It was pretty cool and total...

You'd be amazed at how powerful I am.bookworm wrote:Just like that? Why didn't someone bring you in when the feature was implemented?
Can you give me more information about it? I'm sure I can figure it out. When does it happen?A-ty6 wrote:What about the bug that makes you lose money when you edit your post..

Re: The Legendary Term
It's only a problem on newToO. I was able to make edits to the other styles to fix it. It's Shadowpaw's fault for making City Hall the first forum and unable to be posted to by regular members. :x You obviously didn't try hard enough. ;) Ladies and gentlemen, I have fixed the announcement thread on...

Re: The Legendary Term
Archiving the site: I am infinitely opposed to the idea. Starting over from scratch would be disastrous, I honestly don’t know how you could even consider it. (I’m not trying to be extreme, I’m truly that alarmed/confused by the prospect.) If your aim is to boost activity, how is it a good idea to ...

The Legendary Term
Just when I commit to returning to the Town of Odyssey, my own work-life became increasingly busy and it's been a bit hectic to actually get the time to start looking into things around here, but I managed to find the time to listen to "51: Take it From the Top!" as part of my Album Review...

Re: 51. Take it From the Top Review!
I'm kind of curious. What is your take on Emily Jones? I believe she was in only two of the episodes in that album, so I don't really have much of an opinion of her yet (or really, any of the characters except for the Parker family as a whole). I recall seeing a thread on here referring to her as a...

51. Take it From the Top Review!
First, it was very interesting listening to the show again after years of radio silence. I remember when I was in Colorado Springs for the Live Show and I heard about the plans for a hiatus and the promise that the show would be rebooted. This idea was extremely exciting for me. I think the original...

Re: Special election-related announcement
Well well, log on to check on things, and Shadowpaw has returned! That's unexpected and awesome all at the same time. \:D/ "LOOK OUT! Here comes the Shadowpaw...." Good to see you, Laura! I've missed you! See, I actually had two separate opportunities to prevent an empty Term this cycle, ...

Re: Special election-related announcement
So I have several questions. Still trying to figure out exactly what happened here. How did your return come about? Were you notified by someone else that you might want to consider coming by because we had an empty ballot? Did you see the situation and decide to step in yourself? Were you already ...

Re: My Album Review Pledge
Sorry for the delay, should post it sometime this week. I spent all my free time at the office for the last week and only heard about half the album. So I still have to find the time for the other half! So far... it's been interesting.

Re: Special election-related announcement
It makes sense, but it doesn’t really answer the question. You’ll be here for at least a few months, since you’re stepping into leadership during the void term, but do you see yourself remaining after that, or are you here to fill the void only? And if you’re staying on, would it be a full return, ...

Haha, I've only been back for a few days, and there will come time I have to leave again (just like that time will come for all of us) but I'm not thinking about when I'm going to leave right now, if that makes sense?bookworm wrote:You mean you plan to stay around?

Re: Special election-related announcement
To your claim though, while under a regular administration a ‘failure’ is only temporary with no real lasting effects, this is not a regular administration. Shadowpaw owns the site. When he does things, they stay. So if it’s a failure, it doesn’t go away when he does. The Town of Odyssey is my chil...

Re: Thoughts on the Current State of Odyssey
FOTF is non-denominational. This is why Odyssey Community Church is named as it is. We might presume it's not Presbyterian, since there are only a few churches in Odyssey, and having 2 Presbyterian ones would seem weird. The show seems to be pretty strongly Protestant, however, especially consideri...
