Re: Is British spelling better than American spelling?

I prefer American spelling since I like conciseness.

For measurements, though, Metric >> American since the former is much more intuitive.

Re: 677: The Malted Milkball Falcon

Wow! Novel idea: Rock-a-thon. It's different. It's believable. It's fun. Excellent message: Honesty. Not just tacked on at the end, but taught in the very framework of the story. Plus Psalm 139 is one of my faves. Whit as culprit: We've seen this before (Broken Window, anyone?), but it worked well a...

Re: 671: Fast As I Can

Lizzie, thank you for sharing from your heart, especially in the "main problem" section. It is all too easy to fall into that trap, making short term self-discipline goals and then only marginally connecting them to God or not connecting them to God at all. That is not fasting. On the cont...

Re: 671: Fast As I Can

High points Clever title Happy AIO covered the topic of fasting Wooton—He cut out something realistic, e.g. junk food, and he prayed more. I liked the phone book touch. Most of us could benefit from this. (Wow, I am surprised that I am once again listing Wooton as one of the strengths.) Connie—I lau...

In the early-mid 8000s!

I noticed the counter is assuming we're all born at 12:00 AM though.

Re: 668: The Mystery of the Clocktower, Part 2

4 stars. The most enjoyable episode since the reboot. The clock tower diversion reminded me of another diversion, namely the burning down of Tom Riley's barn. You can find my review here: http://aio-thechangingtimes.blogspot.com/ What an incredible review! The Lucy/Matthew comparison is extremely in...

Over the years I've seen a couple productions (Noah, Ruth) in Lancaster, PA. Breathtaking. Musically impressive. Good for all ages. Inspiring. If the location were more geographically favorable, I'd likely see them all!

Chris isn't exactly in an acting roll. That part where she was a reporter was a commercial, that they've played on other episodes as well. It's still cool though.

Re: 667: The Mystery of the Clocktower, Part 1

Chris was a reporter in the middle, but it was just a commercial for Album 52 - a very clever one I might add. :) I like the Parker Jones detective commercial as well. The titles of their cases coming up this season are hilarious and all seem to be spoofs of old detective movies. I love it! That pa...

Re: 667: The Mystery of the Clocktower, Part 1

Notes: Does the device remind anyone of Call Me if You Care ? It's been 20 years. There is a relationship rift. There is a crisis that needs to be attended to now. (There will be forgiveness/reuniting/a relationship restored at the end? I would not be surprised to find Alicia's sister in Part 2.) I ...
