If it doesn't have Dolly Parton singing Christmas songs about recycling, I'm not interested. https://youtu.be/nPyWqM9OmOE?&t=31

Re: Allowances
I didn't either. Every once in a while I'd be given $20-50 for helping out with loading/unloading hay though. Certainly not every time with 4 hay cuttings a year and at least 6 trips to my grandparents farm(we've got 9 horses and my grandparents grow some hay for us), but it was a nice bonus. Beside...

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
A new Star Trek series called Strange New Worlds just came out. Here's the trailer: https://youtu.be/XL4iCAB6MFo It's a prequel series following The USS Enterprise about ten years before The Original Series. My thoughts on the first episode: It was alright, but just alright. Captain Pike's first off...

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!
I listened to The Mystery of the Clock Tower the other day in the car. Having a little bit of computer knowledge(I was driving to a windows exam that day, flunked it btw), I thought it was weird that Eugene didn't mention checking the NTP (Network Time Protocol) server. Other than that, I really lik...

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!
I listened to Natural Born Leader earlier today. I thought it was interesting that Charles VanHorn still decided to run for student council after he confessed he had no idea what the student council even did. I'm glad that the writers chose to make the other characters understanding once they realiz...

I've been working my way through The Legacy of The Force star wars series. I normally adore star wars, but this series has been a lot more soap opera-y than I like. I do like the glimpses into Mandalorian culture and language though. I'm currently on book 6: Inferno.

forever alone. That's sad 😕 I'm not forever alone. This little angel is always watching over me: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/918703914415710302/964358234758578267/Corglo_Ren.jpg I call him Corglo Ren. :starwars: But yes, Jason ought to remain single. If only people would keep romance out...

Re: Down Gilead Lane
I've never listened to it, but I think my best friend used to. I think it used to air on Saturday mornings here on the radio when I was a kid, but I didn't like to get up that early. The only radio shows for kids I occasionally caught on saturday mornings were Sailor Sam or Ranger Bill. And an out o...

Personal Ranking Systems
Some of us I'm sure have our own ranking system for Odyssey episodes. If I were to rank episodes by percent, this is kinda how I'd do it. I broke mine into categories with the specific number being based on how much I like it. 0-9: Painfully generic, I think I've seen these plots in other kids shows...

Re: Favorite Childhood Books
My favorites as a kid and a teen were: the Hank The Cowdog series by John R. Erickson. Lad: A Dog by Albert Payson Terhune. I really liked dogs as a kid, but I don't like most dogs anymore because most are slobbery and hyperactive. The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain Robinson Crusoe (I first rea...

I'm not gonna be able to make it today. I have a whole ton of schoolwork to do. I'd just make my school up tomorrow, but we have a power outage scheduled then. Tuesday was really fun though.

Re: PBS Kids
I was homeschooled after 3rd grade, but it was always fun to run up the driveway after school and turn on the tv just barely in time for Fetch in 2nd and 3rd grade. Fetch was the only one we consistently watched, but I loved Zaboomafoo, Martha Speaks, and WordGirl too. WordGirl was sooo good. I love...

Re: Cyberchase
Strangely enough this was the one PBS kids show my parents never let me and my siblings watch. To this day I have no idea why. WordGirl and Fetch were our favorites.
