Today 2 things: My mom was eating cabbage for lunch and she randomly says 'a deaf cabbage'. We tend to do that every once in a while...
On the way home from the Hobbit, Mom said she thought that Smaug sounded like Dr. Blackgaard.

Re: What was the topic of your church's teaching today?
Today our youth pastor spoke in the regular church service, about Revelations 3:14-18 and the church in Laodicea. He said basically that the American church is the Laodicean church in many ways, because even if we're financially "poor", we're richer than most of the rest of the world. It k...

Re: Noah
This looks cool! I'd like to see it. So far, it doesn't look like there's been too many embellishments--I wouldn't mind if they'd imagine how it might have been and add scenes that might or might not have happened, it's if they re -imagined it and twisted events too much that I wouldn't like. I'll h...

Re: Doctor Who Series Preview
That was awesome. I just saw the 8th Doctor's movie a couple days ago. It's a shame we didn't get to see more of him between that and his regeneration.

Re: Snow....In October!!
It's rather rainy here in Wisconsin at the moment...At least it's warmer, so it probably won't snow on this last day of October.
Hopefully we'll get Indian Summer now.

Re: Snow....In October!!
yesterday morning we had snow in Wisconsin. It's pretty close to Canada in weather sometimes--though I wish it would get warmer and the snow would stay away until December.

They have to. They have to make all of them. A Horse and his Boy is my favorite; I've read it like 5 times. The Top Crusader wrote:I hope they actually do this... and at least The Last Battle.
I dunno if the other two will ever survive to be made into a movie, though. >_>

Re: The Silver Chair — Movie Coming Soon!
Yay! I'm so glad they're doing the Silver Chair next. It only makes sense, since it comes chronologically after Dawn Treader . I hope they have the same actor as Eustace, though he might be a little too old by the time it's made.

Re: Who should Jason marry?
Jason if he were real would be very good looking.
Not celebrity-like perfectness but a rugged attractiveness. And of course he works out, so he's in pretty good shape.

Re: Who should Jason marry?
Well, the stage has been set for Connie to do some major growing up now. and I thought Home Again was a bit weird with how "desparately" Connie wanted to see "just a former boss". I have thought since For Whom the Wedding Bells Toll that Connie and Jason had chemsitry. She has b...

Re: Odyssey + the Real World
Today I saw a giant puffball in the woods, and I thought, I hope no one stomps on it until it's ripe enough to release spores (because I want to do it!) and I was reminded of the quote from Truth Trivia and Trina where Connie replies with the answer that a mushroom that can have 'sixteen billion spo...
