Re: The Town of Odyssey Turns Fifteen!

I'm so late! (But what else is new?) This community changed my life for the better. People were welcoming, energetic, smart, and I loved that. I drifted away over the years, mostly with college and all that, but the experiences I had here have instilled in me a desire to treat people right, to share...

Re: Artemis Fowl

I absolutely loved the series--read all of them multiple times when I was younger. The trailers released so far don't make it seem like they're holding to the book narratives that much at all, it's just a hodgepodge of the different scenes/characters. Nevertheless...it'll be on streaming, so I'll pr...

Re: Duolingo

I went on Duolingo a few years ago to pick up some more German after I studied abroad in Austria. While it's SUPER effective at getting you to want to stay working in the app with the gamification of it all, I don't think it's really good at helping you retain much, or, more importantly, at helping ...

It's not like I financed the entire campaign or anything. Sarcasm aside, thanks.
Congratulations!

Re: Coronavirus

I think the regional agreements that the west coast states, some east coast states, and a group of states in the Midwest have separately agreed to is a good idea. Basically, they're opening/closing together, using shared metrics among the states.

Re: Goals and Plans for 2014

Well, I finally decided on a major, so passing my intro to accounting classes with grades that are good would be awesome.

Also, I'm going to Vienna for the fall semester of this year, so I guess that's one of my main plans.

Re: Oddcast interview with Aria Curzon

I would love to know what she considers to be the most difficult part of being a voice actor. Does she ever have people recognize her voice when she's in public? Would she have wanted the "Trandy" storyline to progress further than it did? What has been her favorite role in voice acting? D...

"I thought it would be a good idea to introduce the concept of sacrifice." Mr. Whittaker went to the Imagination Station's console. "If you would like, Trent, you could go explore the life of Jepthah. We have plenty of time for that while you're here. Have you talked to any old friend...

You opened the $25 case. Your offer is...$169. Deal, or no deal?

Say no deal, and you pick another case.

It's amazing to me to think that even with all the deletions we have had over the years of various threads, we still have an average creation of almost 10 threads per day. Congrats, ToO!

All right. You have accepted the deal of $7.00, but Pandora's Button is about to change your offer up. Again, Pandora's Button offers five different consequences, one of which you just chose. Here is the consequence. Your game continues, but with one random top amount still in play. I am going to as...

Oh, my. For the first time in this show's history, the guest host has led you astray...

$750 is revealed.

I can only offer you $7.00

But Pandora's Button is still in play, otherwise you pick a case. Deal or no deal?
