Re: Super Bowl LVI

I tried, but I couldn't figure out where and how to type. Nothing was working. Does it not work on mobile?

Re: Super Bowl LVI

I don't exactly care either way who wins, Almanzo was born in Cinci, though, so he is definitely cheering for the Bengals.
I'll have to see who I start to cheer for as I watch. I'll probably start pulling for the Rams just to be ornery. \:D/

Re: Drinking The Tap

I prefer not to drink our tap water, it does tend to smell of chlorine a bit too much for my taste. Back when I lived in VA, we had a well and a whole house sediment filter, so we just all drank straight from the tap and it tasted fine.

Re: How Do You Earn Money?

I used to have a baking business, but now I'm a stay at home mom of 4....so I save my husband thousands of dollars in childcare instead. \:D/ He is an accountant for a software company.

Re: Valentine's Day

I love to celebrate holidays in general, and Valentine's Day is no exception! Growing up, my Mom would give us each Valentines and something small like pencils, stickers, and some candy...as I got older, my Dad started getting me a tiny little pot of roses. I would make Valentines for all my sibling...

Re: Life, life

My Granny passed away 2 weeks ago, so this will be my first Christmas without her as well...and we have celebrated together every year for most of my life. So I have a feeling there will be some sad moments this year when I go home for Christmas. I'm sorry you are experiencing that, too, Catspaw. :h...

Re: Questions for Half Pint

What is your favorite ingredient? Favorite way to travel? Favorite type of sandwich? What's one of your personality gifts? Big groups of friends or small groups? Or one on one? Perhaps cheese? I make a lot of cheesy dishes. By car is the only way I've traveled, so I have no other experience to comp...

Re: 2020 Summer Olympics

I've been enjoying watching the games as well. Lots of interesting events!!
I was surprised that the sport climbing was as interesting to watch as it is...I wasn't expecting to really get into it.

I was disappointed in some of the USA track results tonight, boo.

Re: Life, life

We had church this morning, then this afternoon we all went out in the backyard to enjoy the 63 degree and sunny weather. I am trying to walk at least 1 mile a day this spring, so I walked laps around the yard while the kids played. :D

Re: What did/do you do on long car rides?!?!?

Mainly AIO and reading here. Naps on the 15 hour trips. Then usually games like Ham, Mustard, Donut or 20 Questions with the sibs. Scavenger hunts printed out that we had to find things as we drove. Everyone claimed a color of car and we counted how many we saw. White always won, but I never wanted ...

How do the kiddos do with bed time? @The Top Crusader @Laura Ingalls My 3 boys do pretty well. Two oldest are in beds, youngest boy is still in a crib...older ones know bedtime means to STAY IN BED. Middle boy goes to sleep almost right away...I think he kinda still needs a nap in the afternoon, bu...

Re: All Things Sleep Related

Do you have a sleep routine? Kinda...I put the kids down to sleep, then my husband and I may watch a short show, then we both write emails/check Instagram/play games on our phones in the dark before agreeing that it's getting way too late and we should probably go to sleep now. :P Do you bathe befo...

Re: Energy Drinks

My caffeine intake is limited to Coke Zero...and not too much, or I get increased heart palpitations. Ha! Guess I shouldn't ever try an actual energy drink.
