There was an invasion but nobody knew about it because it was kept secret.

Re: Uncharted

I'll have to check US Amazon, or whatever other streaming services. I want to see it but not actually pay money to see it. \:D/

Everyone I know hated it or at least wasn't thrilled with it. I more or less liked it. >_>

Not my favorite movie ever or favorite MCU movie ever or favorite Thor movie ever, but it was fun.

Re: 2022 Summer Plans

I'm looking forward to my yearly staycation a week from Tuesday. I am so thankful that work approved it too. Normally I would do it in July, the same week as the PEAK conference. But, that's the same week as inventory. All that said, I'm a little over a week away from the staycation, and haven't me...

Re: Black Adam

Good trailer, and I always thought Dr. Fate was neat so glad to see him in a movie. Given the track record of DC films, though, I don’t want to get my hopes up.

Re: Ms. Marvel

I don't have significant interest in this, but then, I don't think I'm supposed to. They are really trying to diversify their product instead of just being "SUPERHERO!" to being more niche subcategories. Probably not a bad idea, but that means not every general Marvel fan will be clamoring...

Re: Obi-Wan Kenobi

First two episodes I was basically, “oh, okay. This is fine. Kind of fun. Only six episodes so I’ll definitely watch it.” Then the third episode completely knocked it out of the park. I hope it can maintain the momentum and not just decide he like “oh and hey let’s focus on some weird teen gang with...

Excellent, hopefully you have a VCR still. \:D/ I'm not good at ranking things, it's probably not in my top 3 but its one I like a lot (basically all the 1970's ones are super fun because they had no budget due to the Japanese recession at the time, but that didn't stop them from churning out entert...

Re: 2022 Summer Plans

Turning 40 \:D/ But otherwise we've never really had big exciting summer plans. My hatred for crowds and the timing of our anniversary has had us usually taking any trips or whatever in early spring instead of summer. The Kid and I will go to a lot of parks and playgrounds, but we do that in the spr...

Re: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

I liked it okay. Definitely didn’t love it and it isn’t something I’m probably going to watch start to finish any time again soon, but wasn’t horrible. I think myself and a lot of people thought there would be more alternate universes getting screen time and there were tons of rumors of cameos that ...

Yeah I got like a dollar every Friday when I was really young. \:D/ At some point that evolved into $20 a month. But it wasn’t totally free money, I had a fair amount of chores and responsibilities etc. Once I hit 16 and could get a job (which I immediately did), that was the end of the gravy train!...

Re: Mental Health From a Christian Perspective

I think a big mistake within the Christian community as a whole (obviously with exceptions) for ages has been to put way too much of a spiritual emphasis on mental health. Of course, not that there should be none at all, but while most (not all) Christians are fine with most modern medicine and seei...
