Re: Ask an Optician
Do you feel that an optician manually measuring the eyes (I think primarily for distance between the patient's pupils) is better than a machine doing it? The last optician I spoke to in person said it's still better (more accurate?) to do it manually.

Re: Energy Drinks
Ah, the way you phrase the question and answers leads me to "I get an adequate amount of sleep." I am blessed to get enough sleep. The world wouldn't want to see me on coffee or Mountain Dew or anything stronger, anyways.

Re: La Croix
I used to drink La Croix, but now I drink Zevia, which an actual soda pop brand that is sweetened with stevia (which isn't yet known to cause cancer in humans). I don't bother with the sparkling water stuff anymore. I can't recall which was my favorite flavor. I was usually more amused by the titles...

Re: 923: Please Adjust Your Frequency
The re-working of the story was amusing. I need to give this another listen-to. It's about kids, and they build each other up, and also engage in creative ventures. I realize Jay Smouse is supposed to be the Rodney Rathbone replacement, which he struggles to do, but he's entertaining in his own way....

Re: 2 + 2 = ?
Haha, based on the storylines that have been done with Mr. Whittaker's tolerance/acceptance/going along with the Rydell child endangerment scandal, I no longer recommend AIO to my friends. I don't care if Phil Lollar has some great, deep thinking involved. The objectionable elements of the show outw...

I was going for "SPAM KING" for a while. Incidentally, I do like oversalted, canned pork product.

Re: CRESTWOOD CLOSURE PENDING
Nobody visited my artwork store anymore, and actually one of the first things I did upon my return last fall was to remove the link to my store in my signature line.
Nowadays I don't use Photoshop; I use Inkscape (vector graphics) and I probably can't replicate a lot of what I did in the past.

Re: Why Are You Here?
I pronounce it "Too" too to people nearby. But otherwise I say "The Too." I was here at my beginning to discuss AIO and have the highest post count. How ironic that it was during an AIO hiatus and then I fizzled out right before the 2011 resumption of the show. But I'm back for n...

Re: 909: Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off
What the heck?! How on earth are these children allowed to get away with breaking into those offices? Why the heck is Emily still even enrolled in the same school as those brigands and attempted murderers?! Why are the Rydell children and Mr. Whittaker not serving time? To quote the mythical valley ...

Re: Murder on the Orient Express (2017)
I saw Murder on the Orient Express (2017) . It wasn't as good as the 1970s version, and I barely tolerate the 1970s' artistic output. I must have seen the 1970s' version as a kid, because I too recognized that "everyone is guilty, right?" before the ending was revealed. I think the previou...

Re: A what-if thread
Florida would really suffer for 11.5 months of the year. The price of fans would go through the roof (pun intended). A/C technicians would make bank fixing all the units that broke.

Shakira - Dare (La La La). I'm only playing through my set alphabetically, and that's where it's at right now. It's hardly her best "song" if you call them that. I suppose "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" is her best.

Corporate tie-in, as if the Universal Press Foundation isn't Whit's corporate tie-in in the canon!
We should pitch this idea to the FOTF dudes and ask for some books or alt-history episodes published in this new-niverse, Odyssey '15.
