Re: GameBot in the Chatroom

That was really fun last night! I've always enjoyed Password, and it was similar.

Re: Summer Celebration: ToO Game Night!

Wednesday nights are church for me, and Saturday nights are often (but not always) busy with family commitments or baths etc for the kids getting ready for church the next morning. Most other nights could work, just depends on the week.

Re: Summer Celebration: ToO Game Night!

I had a last minute dinner with my inlaws, and then hockey came on right when we got home...or I was going to pop on.

Re: 2022 Summer Plans

We will be traveling to VA for my mom's 70th birthday...other than that, no travels til September. We will just enjoy having time off school, go to the library, read books, play outside, and hopefully I can get some cleaning and organizing projects done before it's time to start up 1st grade homesch...

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2022

The Rangers have always been my team, so I'm cheering for them to beat the Hurricanes this round. I couldn't watch the game yesterday because of birthday party prep for my 5 year old, but I'm glad they won. They always seem to win when I'm not watching. :(

Re: Allowances

No, I didn't. If there was a particularly large project that we pitched in to help with....like painting the fence or something...my Dad would pay us $20 or so. We worked for our neighbors occasionally to dog sit or rake leaves and got paid for that. We got money for birthday or Christmas gifts. But...

Re: Hardest Life Experiences

My first son being born at 24 weeks at 1 lb 6 oz, watching him turn blue as the respiratory therapists worked frantically to intubate him in the NICU, and all the subsequent therapies and medical issues. Having Covid in Dec 2020, and ever since struggling with bad panic attacks. My miscarriage and m...

Morrie and Suzu

Out of curiosity, since I am out of the loop in recent years of the show, can someone explain what has been highly controversial about Morrie and Suzu?

Re: Places You've Lived

Born and raised in the beautiful state of Virginia...lived in 5 towns around the state. Moved down to Georgia when I got married at age 29. It's been interesting getting used to the weather here....so hot and humid. I do miss the scenery and temperatures in VA, but it's not too bad here in GA. Defin...

Re: Combs, Hairspray, and a Brush

I guess only Catspaw has hair. :-k Bren, let's try not to make everyone else feel bad. There's nothing wrong with being bald. I actually fear my hair thinning. Just to think that one day it could happen scares me. I still have plenty of hair, but I do think I'm starting to go gray prematurely...

I'm not on Facebook or Twitter, so no, I don't follow. I'd follow on Instagram if there was a ToO page.

Re: Baseball Caps

I would always wear a baseball cap when I mowed the yard. These days, I don't mow, so I don't wear caps. I have a couple of cute straw hats I occasionally wear if needed to keep the sun off.

Re: Favorite popcorn?

I like the movie theater butter microwave popcorn. I remember from when I was a teenager trying an Orville Redenbacher flavor called cracked black pepper, I think? I really liked that, but I don't think they make it any more.

Re: Energy Drinks

I used to drink Coke Zero if I needed some caffeine for a headache or something. But then my heart decided to go all wonky on me after my third kid, and I get palpitations. :( So now I avoid as much caffeine as I can, which is a problem when I don't get enough sleep or have a bad headache.
