So now, along with Whit being a Time Lord, Jason is secretly Jack Bauer, or at least somewhat of a kindred spirit.

Re: Who should Jason marry?

Yes, and it looks as if he's gained quite a bit of weight from life as a janitor.

Re: Adventures in Odyssey "Bossmen"

Maybe somebody just knows more about Odyssey than you now. :D 5. Al Janssen 4. Paul McCusker 3. Kurt Bruner 2. Dave Arnold 1. Chuck Bolte Yes, I will admit, though not all of his episodes are my favorite, Chuck Bolte deserves the #1 slot until Dave Arnold does something epic and overthrows him. With...

Adventures in Odyssey "Bossmen"

Behind every operation there is "The Big Guy." He runs everything in the organization, and for the most part his name becomes synonymous with the institution which he runs. Where would Apple be without Steve Jobs? Standard Oil without John D. Rockefeller? McDonald's without Ray Kroc? It's ...

Re: Character Appearance Density

Okay, this is cool. (Sorry if I bumped this, but it deserves it.)

Do you think you could make a second set, perhaps with Penny, Dr. Blackgaard, Edwin, Cryin' Bryan Dern, and June Kendall? Please?

Re: Can unsaved people get into Heaven?

About the "fascination", as you say, it's not a one-time thing. What you're thinking of is the moment when people accept Jesus Christ. And, yes, throughout one's life they should strive to be more like God, and serve Him because of our love for Him. Not that I'm excusing it, but if someone...

Re: Can unsaved people get into Heaven?

First of all, define "unrepentant." If I came to somebody's door, led them to the Lord, but then they go out that night and party like there's no tomorrow, get drunk, do other unmentionable horrors, etc., then I'd say it probably wasn't sincere, which in that case would make what they said...

Re: Can unsaved people get into Heaven?

Okay, why would you have to accept Him more than once, and what makes you "lose" your salvation. That sounds like an even more unpleasant experience. If I believed that, I would constantly live in fear of losing the gift of God. I much rather prefer the belief that no matter what I do or h...

Re: Best AIO Traveling Episodes

For a plane trip, (and for a walking one, I guess.), you can use The Search for Whit . Part 2 has the plane trip, I believe, and Part 3 contains the desert trek. And if traveling By wagon a good episode would be "The Ill-Gotten Deed." :D Oh, yes. Can't you just see those rugged pioneers of...

Re: Who should Jason marry?

True, the actors have chemistry, and praise God that Odyssey has good actors. But from a real life perspective, if I was walking down the street, and I saw someone who was about to hit the big "4-0" with a girl who's probably 20, I'd be somewhat disturbed. "Oh, look, one's about to hi...

Re: Can unsaved people get into Heaven?

Okay, John, if you don't mind, I'm going to jump into this discussion. If you accept God's Sacrificial Lamb, His only Son, and repent of your sins and ask Him to free you of the clutches of sin and carnality, you are saved, and you are going to Heaven no matter what. It's a gift you can't lose. Peri...

Re: Album 57: A Call to Something More

I understand. Though I can't sit down and listen to the same episode over and over, I recently re-listened to Album 27, and was engaged and loved them, even though I knew what the episodes were about. (However, there were a lot of things in the episodes that caught me off-guard. I thought I remember...

Re: Album 57: A Call to Something More

Doesn't that take some of the joy away, though? If you wait for a whole year to get twelve episodes, then listen to them all in one day, it's just over. Then you have to wait 6-8 more months for Album 58 to come out. If I did that, this would be me: ](*,)

Re: Album 57: A Call to Something More

Well, I listen to the hard copy in the car, and if I wanted it on my iPod, I would just burn it on from the CDs.

After listening to a whole album at once, you must be on overload. That's something I don't think I could do.

Re: Spotting (or hearing) AIO Actors

On an Animaniacs skit I was watching recently, "The Brave Little Trailer", there was a familiar sounding voice. Lo and behold, it was Andre Stojka, doing the voice of the narrator/trailer.

Only 16 days till the season begins. I'm excited for this one. But I wait for the hard copy :( On the plus side, though, the bonus features in the album will be amazing!

Actually, I remember listening to Best Laid Plans two years ago, and I really thought it would go somewhere. Alas, 'twas not meant to be.

@Tiger: So why is Jason marrying someone less than half his age a good idea?

Re: Welcome/Goodbye

Hello there, everybody. I am The Old Judge. After long internal debate, I have decided to come and join. I am very excited and feel very privileged to finally be able to debate with other older, mature Odyssians. Also, I can't wait to use the famed "dancing smiley", so I'm going to use it ...
